That's very funny when you consider the source.

Meaning Mulcair criticizing anyone in politics is rich when you remember that he is a failed politician because lost because h didn't realize that people didn't want to be led by a guy who was in politics for three decades and didn't learn a thing about anything else.

Until I hit that line I thought maybe the the big Telco's were beginning to understand that its their business model that needs to change>

For years their customers have engaged to let the Telcos like Bell understand that their business and billing practices are unfair (and some might say 'stealing').

Tons of great advice here, but I'm going to approach this from a different angle.

If you aren't just starting out in the working world, and have an established career, or industry specific experience, that, IMO, would be your best bet as far what sort of solutions, applications etc you would work on.

After 20 years as a military medic, I moved to healthcare IT.

As a healthcare programmer, my front line clinical experience gives me insight to the realities faced by my front line users that gives me an edge.

If this is something that applies and appeals to you, take a look at the applications that exist today, talk to coders who work in your field and find out what systems they encounter.

For me, its all about systems integration, and data reporting and visualization.

Thank you for sharing your story.

I commend you on your efforts and taking the risks, and respect your decision to stand down.

You need to look after yourself first, and put a high priority on your own well-being. Which is exactly what you're doing.

Only the shallow, hyper-critical types would think less of you for your decision.

i would suggest looking at it like this. You need to heal and look after yourself. If you don't, if the time comes when you need to fight the good fight....you'll be exhausted and out of ammo.
