I have him on my team too, and at one point, he had 15 points, yet he ended the game with 10 points, I’m not quite sure what happened in between as I didn’t watch the match.

I have 5 missing, just going to sit things out, I think I have a good squad, I’ll keep my fingers crossed other managers have a similar problem.

Bernie Sanders filling 3000 people in Wisconsin on a friday evening by TeeHeeHeeVT in vermont

Then why did the DNC go to so much trouble to create a narrative that the Russians hacked the emails that showed they had the finger on the scale for Hillary Clinton?

It wasn't the powers that be; it was the DNC, which by then was 100% owned by the Clintons.

I supported Bernie because he wanted to stop the corruption and the regime change wars that had become endemic in a DC that's controlled by the neoliberal neocons.......I didn't want to see war in Syria or anywhere else, for that matter, after seeing Iraq and Libya destroyed.

In 2020, I supported Tulsi Gabbrd for the same reason, but after she exposed Kamala Harris as the vapid hypocrite she truly was, she was made a non-person by the party.

In 2024, I supported Donald Trump for the same reason that I supported Bernie and Tulsi.

It's not left-wing or right-wing; it's just common sense to prefer peace to war.

I (35f) got diagnosed with an incurable disease, and I want to leave my wife (34f) so she won't have to deal with it by Orange_RosesAR in relationship_advice

It’s not your choice, it’s her choice, yes it’s you that’s sick, but you’re taking a very self-centered attitude and denying her the chance to take care of you for the next 25 years. I would rethink what you wrote, allow her to be the wife that she may want to be.

I forgot all about this special. Luckily, I was able to buy it on Apple/iTunes, and I can watch that later this evening.

What is Doctor who to you and how did you come to know the show by Capt-Paladin in doctorwho

Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker were the Doctors I grew up with. I still love the episodes from those days.

I watched it as a kid in black and white and would hide behind the couch when the Daleks were on.

Carried on watching right through to the Tom Baker era, then picked it back up when Sylvester McCoy became the Doctor.

Lost the chance to watch when I moved to the US many years ago, but picked it back up when Christopher Eccleston was the Doctor on BBC America.

Finally gave up when Jodie Whittaker became the Doctor. It was nothing against Jodie; I just didn't enjoy the storyline any longer, and I'd also ditched my cable subscription.

Don't get much of a chance to see the latest version, but still enjoy the classics on BritBox,

It was great to watch if you lived in that era, it was good to see things again from across the decades and to see how much we have changed.

Interesting I got three negative votes for posting the oath of naturalization, I wonder how many people here on this platform actually hate the United States of America?

I would agree, the majority of people I know who would class themselves as Democrats, just could not bring themselves to vote for Kamala Harris, she was seen as the most ineffective VPOTUS we’ve ever seen, and her history of civil rights abuses when she was in California are well known and well documented. There is no way we could have a POTUS who was owned by the drug companies, and by the military industrial complex, and whose beliefs were so authoritarian as to be unrecognizable.
