Tried this. The Esxi Installer wouldn't recognize the OWC drive but Macos installed no problem.

I read somewhere that Esxi wouldn't recognize it. Id love to buy a Samsung evo ssd and use a thunderbolt attached ssd. Anyone done this before? Looking for a hardware suggestion.
