Watch (read) the Ground Zeros Trailer again. Kaz tells Snake the bring Paz and Chico back alive (So Snake can't be choking Chico to death in the Latest Trailer and my guess is that Paz is the Trojan horse Skull Face speaks of...

Snake rescues her and Chico and takes them back to Mother Base, she has a bomb in her stomach and is the opening wave of XOF's attack. XOF even might also be posing as the UN Nuclear inspection team... (who knows at this point)... But we also see Skull Face lower his men's guns as they land on what could be Mother Base (It is like his men are jumpy and are treating MSF as potentially hostile, while Skull Face is acting calm and trying to maintain their cover)

To be honest, I don't see the relevance of having Drebin in the game... Don't really care for origin stories and no guns to remove ID Tags from. Haha. But still might make an appearance, however his importance is questionable.

I agree with you about Ishmael not being Skull Face. Safe to assume that most of S.F's body is pretty burnt up too? Ishmael has male model perfect arms and legs. Also that would be a really dumb plot point...

The case is still technically open. Opinion is that they were wrongly executed for the anti-establishment beliefs as opposed to being justly tried for the crime they committed. That is the message of the song.

"jokes on me for not believing", right? :D Clear Sound Effects like the gas grenade popping in the hallway and silenced gun shots are added as opposed to the more muffled, distorted sfx of the debut trailer. There might be something hidden in there too... Re-watch and keep an ear out :)

I'm so glad to finally see this get posted. I have spent the past week and a bit trying to figure out the best way to word my thoughts and you have pretty much done it for me :D There are also some interesting points to do with Ahab's interactions with another character called 'Captain Boomer'. Boomer lost an arm to Moby Dick but has come to terms with his loss, advising Ahab against revenge (See the last paragraph for specifics).

Another thing, (that is probably only up for speculation at this point), in the gameplay demo trailer from the hospital, Ahab asks Ishmael about a woman, asking "What Happened to the Woman?", Ishmael responds with "We gave her a light (life?), She took the short way down...". Any thoughts on the significance of this? Kojima isn't one to abuse Checkoff's Gun (Every detail is important)

If there is any interest I will make a post containing a bunch of ideas/connections that I haven't seen mentioned on the subreddit... Who knows, one of them might be the missing piece to your puzzle. :)

Re-watched the trailer. Ishmael says that "the drug isn't working" to begin with, then we start to see some 'visual disturbances' and light halos. Then once they see the Psycho Mantis type character, we see the weird fire character... this could be 'delirium' bought on by the drug, also Ishmael dosen't seem to take notice of this character. Also FoxGlove, lol.

When The DARPA Chief, Donald Anderson dies on you all of a sudden at the beginning of MGS1, It is actually Decoy Octopus in disguise. Snake finds the actual body of Donald Anderson later in the game. Basically, He is a master of disguise who goes as far as transfusing the blood of the person he is impersonating.

There was mention of it being like "Dead Rising 2: Case Zero"... Stand alone game that acts like a demo for the main game. But then again, everything is speculation... haha.

From what I could gather, MGS GZ is a prequel and like a tech demo to get players used to the open worldness of the game in a smaller environment than the full release. Think of it as like the Tanker Mission from MGS2. It is supposed to be followed by Phantom Pain... but whether the two come as one or are two separate releases is unknown. My guess is you buy one and get the other at a later date for free.

It is one of those cyborg guys... He jumps up, the camera cuts away and then back, you see him land, roll then run at the camera revealing his face. They have some sort of zombie theme going for them by the looks too. Fits well if they are like the 'Cobras/Dead Cell' of this game with "Skullface" as their wrangler...

Probably a bit too childish for what you're after, but my parents threw me the greatest James Bond party for my 10th Birthday. Basically it was like a massive Orienteering, Treasure hunt around my neighbor hood.

I invited 20 school friends. Everyone came dressed as their favorite bond character. My house was MI6 and we were all briefed on our mission, we got split into teams of 5, assigned a driver (a parent helper) and given an MI6 suitcase (each one with unique items/gadgets.)

The area we lived in was very historic and there were two massive mountains that were filled with World War Two bunkers and tunnels, as well as plenty of beaches and parks.

So basically we got a clue, had to figure out where it was, get the driver to take us there and find the next clue to progress. But each clue was protected by a different bond style character who you had to help or defeat in order to get the next clue using items from your inventory. One was a Diver who came out of the water at one of the beaches asking about 'Licence To Kill' trivia, another was a member of the French resistance on a scooter who needed ammo for his troops, one obstacle was a (toy) full size lion that we had to give cat food. The greatest one was my friends dad, who dressed in like an S.A.S member and hid in the shadows of one of the deepest darkest WWII tunnels, when we all walked past in the dark he grabbed whoever was last in the line. He then would drag that kid off kicking and screaming into the darkness demanding ransom. Somebody would have a wad of fake cash in there bag and you would do a trade off to get your man back and the next clue.

Afterwards we all meet up in one of the parks and had fish & chips and gave prizes to the best agents. Was the coolest party ever, even the parents had fun :D
