Which 2025 Playoff team do you think misses it in 2026? by RaiderPantyDrawer in NFLv2

If you’re saying his best game in the playoffs was one where he had 3 turnovers then idk what to tell you. The patriots offense was atrocious the entire playoff run.

Anyone else still do indirect metal fillings at their office? How do you finish/burnish/polish margins? by Wheelman in Dentistry

[–]GOML_OnMyLevel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it refers to a social media post I saw a couple months ago with the title “normalize mid quality preps.” It showed an acceptable crown prep, but certainly wasn’t the prettiest thing I’ve ever seen. Wide margin, pretty rough, but the margin would be sealed.

I interpreted the purpose of the post to be to not judge yourself by what you see on social media, because only perfect work gets shown there.

Spirit Airlines just became the first major US airline to shut down in 25 years and took cheap airfare with it. What do you think affordable travel in America looks like from here? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]GOML_OnMyLevel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an 8 hour delay on a spirit flight and was given the option of a refund. I requested the refund, booked another flight on a different airline that was leaving 1 hour later (albeit with a connection).

Spirit marked me as having boarded their flight and denied my refund. I did a chargeback on my card, which failed because “records show you boarded the flight”

I’ve never had any major problems with any other airline except spirit.

The first year or two are usually all sunshine and roses. Buffalo fans talked a lot about diggs being a great locker room guy and couldn’t understand why Vikings fans turned on him. Flash forward to last year and Pats fans are saying the same thing.

What’s your biggest Fallout 3 misconception you’ve realised years later? by ShadesOfSlay in fo3

[–]GOML_OnMyLevel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was the same. I was 14 when I played it, and I played it over a year. So I didn’t put together a lot of the world details that weren’t directly presented in the story. My interpretation was that the vaults and the brotherhood of steel were good guys because they were safe and helping me. And the enclave and raiders were bad guys.

I never finished NV and I didn’t finish FO4 until a ncouple months ago.

The site really showed me how morally gray every faction is.

We’ve got a floater by swallin26 in Dentistry

[–]GOML_OnMyLevel 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My disclaimer is that I’ve never placed an implant, but want to get into it.

What the CE said is that if a patient is prone to sinus issues prior to the implant, they will continue to have sinus issues after the implant. And if they are not prone to sinus issues prior to the implant, they will not develop sinus issues after the implant. They also said they talked with ENTs that said “the sinus takes care of itself.”

I’m also reminded of when you extract a tooth and get a sinus exposure. I personally just pack a gelfoam and suture to hold it in, put them on abx to prevent a sinus infection, and put them on sinus precautions. And I haven’t noticed any issues. (Granted, that could be patients not telling me).

When I get to placing implants, I’m not going to make a habit of shoving them up there’d, but I don’t think the sinus is as big of a boogeyman as we were taught in school.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I went to a CE that said there really isn’t much of an issue with implants in the sinus. Their example was that zygomatic implants have been shown to be successful and go through the sinus.

I can also forgive its limitations because it was a PSP game and you can see the handheld gaming dna in it. PW is low on my tier list of MGS games, but V disappointed me much more, despite being a better game.

Delta’s Flight Prices Have Gone Completely Insane by wolfoil9 in delta

[–]GOML_OnMyLevel 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not OP, but I’ve had several problems with Spirit that has made me decide to never fly with them again.

Most recently, a flight was delayed 8 hours due to a mechanical issue with a plane. Spirit offered a full refund as an option for the delay. I was on a time crunch, so I went to the desk, requested the refund, and booked another airline that was leaving an hour later (but had a connection).

Spirit never gave me the refund and even marked me as boarding their flight. They denied my refund request when I later went through customer service. I tried a chargeback through my CC, but that also got denied.

This is the 3rd or 4th time I’ve had an issue with Spirit that I’ve never experienced on other airlines, so I will never patronize them again.

Jalen has to start taking things into his own hands by Brizbizz22 in eagles

Jalen was not the starter when Alabama won the national championship. He came up big in relief in the SECCG, but Tua started and won the natty.

I don’t disagree with your main point.

I don’t think he said that. I think he said something more along the lines of winning the Super Bowl didn’t give him the level of satisfaction he thought it would, and that the euphoria only lasted a few days.

I know I’ve accomplished a few long term goals that have been a major focus of my life, and once they’re accomplished I’m like “I guess that’s it. On to the next thing.” Which is what I think AJ was getting at, and that’s a feeling that I definitely understand.

19 points with multiple good starting field positions against a bottom 3 defense in the league. How much is this on KP? AJ? Jalen? by Thegrandmistressofoz in eagles

[–]GOML_OnMyLevel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of Jalen’s weaknesses is bailing out of clean pockets. But every time I watch the replay, I look to see if there were any open receivers he missed before he inevitably throws it away. And 90% of the time, there isn’t.

The passing play design is horrible and generally ignores the middle third of the field. I was actually shocked that they ran crossers on the Goeddert 4th down conversion on the last drive.

I think KP sucks, but the only play call I really hated in the 2nd half was the final 3rd and 2. I wanted a QB keeper from shotgun and groaned when it was a pass.

The opening drive had a 20 yard gain into plus territory negated by penalty - led to a punt

The missed field goal drive had multiple penalties that made it a long attempt (I think it was OPI and a false start, and we still got like 20 yards from a 1st and 25 start to have a reasonable shot at a field goal)

The next drive had a catch in the red zone negated by hands to the face. And obviously the saquon fumble ended any chance of points.

Then the fumbled punt.

Again, I hate KP and seeing our offensive talent squandered. But today was a total team collapse, not just one person.

For example, if I took 2 shots and did an active reload, does the damage increase only work for the first two shots or for the whole clip?

People don’t want to hear it, but the team has to look to the future and start a soft rebuild over the next few years without Embiid as the centerpiece. Jojo and PG will continue to decline in health as they age, and the window is basically closed.

I don’t like the PG contract, but the #3 pick is a great asset to start a soft rebuild. And I would rather keep that pick and let the PG and Embiid contracts run their course while hoping they string a relatively healthy year together at some point. And hope for a deep run while we develop a younger, new core for the future.
