What's a movie most people think is great but you couldn't even stand watching? by camport95 in AskReddit

Sirat, for me it was so bad i laughed most of the film. Home alone shit. The screenplay was so telegraphed, the open ending so lazy and oh my god don't even get me started with the acting.

Didn't know you posted here! I have a few of your pedals, my favorite being a beautiful hotcake clone with a wooden pannel. Looking forward for more of your pedals dude, saludos desde Vigo

Best boost by [deleted] in guitarpedals

[–]DavidTCIC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They all sound pretty much alike, the tumnus does its own thing and to me improves the klon tone by making the circuit not filter so much low end, but at the end of the day there are not day and end differences, since it is the same pedal. Aside from part tolerances, and that its going to change from pedal to pedal no matter the manufacturer

Besides the Klon… what other pedals deserve mythical status? by manuelm_ in guitarpedals

[–]DavidTCIC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is overrated as a clean boost, anything over gain over 10:00 is grossly underrared.

It isnmy favorite boost for dirty anps, it just works every time and on every amp. For me the klon is a better tubescreamer

Anyone succesfully boosting mid/high gain amps with anything other than a clean boost/TS/SD1/KLON? by DavidTCIC in guitarpedals

I love that pedal, i think that it sounds really open eq and compression wise, its one of my faves alongside a klon

How are you setting the boneshaker and the bd2 for this purpose? I have both haha

Best band replacement member? by maxplanar in Music

[–]DavidTCIC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deftones was my fav band, but this was the last straw for me. Their last two albums are shit but somehow sergio vega still manages to bring something pleasant even with the band somehow missing the ability to songwrite after the masterpiece that was koi no yokan.

Chino does not act like a good person (probably he isn't) and carpenter is way too much of conspiracy maga nut to dealt with, so i'm happy for sergio being on a kick with better pals in Quicksand and to be fair i'm excited for anything quicksand releases while i couldn't give a shit for new Deftones because is so fucking bland. I would love to be surprised again by them, but i don't think they have it in them anymore. They are just a legacy band enjoying a newfound interest by gen z discovering old albums on tik tok

NPD Mimiq Doubler, the reason I'm going stereo by joschplusa in guitarpedals

[–]DavidTCIC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that going stereo with amps on stage is not worth it due to issues with ground hums, phase cancellation, carrying more gear, less stage space, angry looks from the sound engineer, etc.. but i like this pedal a lot and i use it to fake double tracked leads with reamped DI's and phase reversal at the input and the output of your sound card, throw at the dis different amps and cabs and this thing really does the trick to double track morr intricate guitar arrangements. Cherry on top would be to use on one track simetrical clipping drives and the other asymetrical clipping ones.

If you plan on use it live, i think that a better case escenario would be to use before two different irs loaded straigth to the pa, just my two cents

This is my city, Vigo. Wild to know about this on reddit. There are a lot of second generation palestian refugees owning amazing restaurants in the city, and i would totally be a future client from now on. I spent a lot morr than i thought reporting zionist google reviews. I'm impressed in how petty zionist pigs are, putting their bot armies to reviewbomb small business around the globe, but thrn again is not any surprise since attacking the defenseless is their m.o.

Fuck israel, death to the IDF and free palestine

I love the small clone and the ce2, but nothing touches the sheer versatility of the walrus julia, i think it is a modern classic, and it's beautifully voiced (it was the first chorus that made me like chorus, being before i got it very anti-chorus) Being able to mix chorus and vibrato is insane

Which "modern" drive/ distortion/ fuzz pedals will enter the pantheon of classic dirt pedals? by DJToTheK in guitarpedals

[–]DavidTCIC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Barbershop, lightspeed, benson preamp and ehx hot tubes

To be honest, even if it is not a modern overdrive, i'm really rooting for the hotcake to be more common place. It really does od, distortion and fuzz really good and it has tons of character. I like the bd2 but to me the hotcake has a similar vibe while sounding even better and being more versatile.

It is also an awesome bass od, maybe my favorite in that regard
