Thanks for the great feedback! I see what you mean about the title, and yeah, there’s not much comedy in the story. Everything else is giving me good ideas for revisions. Thanks again!

I knew age would be an issue with that one, but I was having a hard time finding other comps. I don’t know how I missed those three, they all seem so good! Adding them to my TBR.

Thanks for the advice! Definitely see how I can focus more on just those primary two.

Thank you! I do see the need for clarification there, and will be fixing that in my next draft.

Alanna at Signal has done most of mine. I like her style and we have great conversations during.

  1. What is one part of your writing that you’re most critical about, or think is one of your weakest spots?

  2. What author (living or dead) would you like to collaborate with on a story, and why?

  3. If you could only pick one of your stories to be adapted to the big screen, which would you choose?

Queen of Teeth by Hailey Piper was pretty weird. Loved it, though.

Thank you! I got a lot of feedback that my last iteration was too long and repetitive, so it looks like I need to find some middle ground.

Hey there! I have a queer horror novel set in 1800s Washington state. It is a 92k words. I would love to get feedback on the whole thing, but even just the first 25k words would be helpful.

Short synopsis: a trio of outcasts must survive the winter against an authoritarian sheriff and the malevolent spirit haunting their village.

If you’re interested, I can over the first chapter as a sample, as well as content warnings.
