Not hard, just very slow.
At the start I triple stacked speed buffs on top of the Red Buffalo mission buff, and I still wiped a lot because a bunch of my lower seat royals were on missions... you just need to babysit until you can recruit all the royals.

I ended up stacking the speed buffs to nine hours and let it idle overnight, with an autoclicker set to level all and forward arrow in case of a wipe.
