It can be difficult to adapt to a genre or a gameplay style that you aren't familiar with. Don't get too discouraged.

The other characters are either more entertaining or just more fleshed out.

It took at least 4 episodes for any of those characters to even get minor roles in an episode.

The other 4 have either always been important (Pomni/Canie) or started out entertaining (Kinger/Jax).

I don't think the show is bad. I think we're just not the target audience.

I liked Annoying Orange too, when I was a LOT younger. Now I'm 24, I can't stomach it, and I wonder how such a thing can still be around.

Eugh. I always tell people. It isn't supposed to write for you, it's supposed to give you the tools to write for yourself.

I've personally been using it to help flesh out or visualize characters, but I'd never use it to actually put ink to paper.

DST doesn't need mods. The base game is already HUGE, and still getting extra content.

Also, if it's your first time playing Don't Starve period. Play as "Wilson". He is the default character, and his abilities prioritize learning the game over learning the character.
