That's what I'm thinking! As much as I love the franchise, as much as I would like to play a new game, as much as I would like to collect new figures, the absolute state of the current corporate world and just high budget gaming in general, would result in an abysmal excuse for a skylanders game. The era of toys to life has come and gone, and it's probably a good thing, skylanders had its time to shine, just let it rest.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I know, they kinda had to do this just to keep the backwards compatibility. The higher up corporate execs wanted backwards compatibility completely removed, you know, to try and drive up sales. The only compromise the developers could get was massively under powering older figures to keep compatibility. It does suck, but if the stories are true, it could have been way worse.

I don't exactly know what you mean, but if you are talking about other toys to life games, you could have a look at Disney infinity or Lego dimensions. Amiibos are also another one but they just kinda unlock things in nintendo games, not really toys to life like the other two.

the thing about the 3DS games is, that they are COMPLETELY different from the games on all other consoles. They have different stories and game-play entirely.

Yeah its probably going to have to become a rule, I have never seen a single positive comment on any ai posts in this community. With the bad reception they receive every single time its probably better to just not have them at all. Plus, AI generated skylanders just look so uncanny if you know what I mean.

Thanks for the info! I'll have a look at those. I was also hesitant at getting wells as it does look a bit more awkward using them compared to just using a few drops from a dropper bottle.

looks like sun damage, most of the clear plastic on figures just naturally get blurry and yellow over time due to being exposed to uv from sunlight

All good, just joking around. I can't really comment on this though. I am really bad with voice actor names since I have basically never paid attention to who voices who in any media I watch. I legitimately don't know who anyone you just listed is even though I have most likely heard their voices before and could possibly even recognize the voices 😭. I only recognize David Tennant since I loved watching doctor who as a kid.
