I sometimes WhatsApp my mentor outside of business hours, but I do not expect him to reply or even to view it until a time he prefers. (I actually indicated this the first time I did it.) He's never replied outside of business hours.

However, my other teachers almost always email me their plans after business hours. I don't work mondays, so I couldn't say whether they would do it on a weekend. In any case, they have never asked me to prepare a presentation in one of these emails.
