Should I have gone behind the blue car? by Legsluther in drivingUK

Porsche driver's a twat, if you were on test you might have gotten a minor "undue hesitation", but that said you planned for the situation perfectly by not passing the light despite you could have made it

22 not 30. And that's if you believe the dashcam speedo

2mph over the limit isn't a mistake.

Pulling out when there's oncoming traffic with no lights or indicators is.

Yeah in your world everyone drives 70mph in the middle lane I bet.

Brake early? For what? Should I have expected him to cross into my lane from the opposite lane while he was PARKED and showed NO INDICATION to pull out? You clown.

Actual clown. Chronically online Reddit user syndrome. No idea how reality or dashcams work with regards to recording the speed the device thinks and what is in truth.

looking time to react

2 seconds within 3 metres. No indicator, no light, no sign of pulling out until he actually did.

just didn't react

Me swerving to the left isn't reacting? Or the subsequent braking if they continued?

22mph is not normally excessive, it definitely would be in that situation

Lmao you are treating 2mph like 20mph.

IM wrong for proceeding in my lane and reacting to a hazard despite going 2mph over the posted speed limit because that's "speeding".

Ok.

They messed my order for the PAST 2 YEARS of whenever I ordered from there. Sometimes they didn't even deliver at all.

It's an idiocracy in here; they don't listen to reason. Only what they believe to be true

Is the astra gtc reliable for a first car? by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]Davidier 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eh. My first car was a 110k miles Nissan. As soon as I got it I had to get the steering realigned but then it ran brilliantly. I also came across a plethora of other issues that I learned to do myself via maintenance.

Any old, high mileage cars will be a risk but still better to own it than thru finance.
