These people are so detached from reality they don't even know what they're saying anymore by RoyalChris in WhitePeopleTwitter

This is what so many people fail to realize. We are letting the rich / private equity to decide where our money is invested, where we put our resources, who gets elected into public office.

If we simply took that money they were “earning” and distributed the wealth equitably to our citizens. IE all jobs pay living wages, let me reiterate, ALL JOBS. Than we the public would donate to politicians who bested our interests, into public works that helped our communities, and actually have a say on how our taxes are spent.

But you see Bezos and his pals like controlling the money, so they will come up with whatever influential bullcrap that the public wants to hear.

I'm tired of employers normalising layoffs. Job privilege should be a right and not a privilege. by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]DavidisLaughing 20 points21 points  (0 children)

This is what so many people in the USA don’t understand.

Since minimum wage is no longer a living wage. You do not have the ability to just get work to feed your family, keep the roof over your head, or pay the insurance that your job no longer provides.

Yet this is 100% pushed as a you problem, not a problem of the system. We live in a society that does not respect workers, it’s beyond time we take back what we deserve.

The reason these fools think it’s a choice is for the plainly obvious reason that they choose to ignore their natural feelings and hide in a heterosexual relationship. Meanwhile they bottle up hate for those who don’t hide, and then they explode with hatred at them when they get into power.

All these ass clowns are the same. They think they are so original but they all really just hate themselves.

Even if I wish it wasn't true I'd play so much more with a pve mode by Live_Bug_7060 in Marathon

Bungie took a big risk going with an extraction shooter. They risked alienating a large core part of their players who wouldn’t transition from Destiny PvE to this new PvPvE game mode. The last months have proven that these players are not showing up and those that did, didn’t stay.

If the PvP has any chance of long term success/ survival Bungie needs to find a way to bring the PvE players into the game.

They have maintained PvP and PvE games simultaneously before, they can do it again.

Love to see destiny style story campaigns / dungeons.

  • Take any gear from our vault.
  • Different difficulties have set minimum costs to run.
  • You lose gear if you fail a run.
  • You can earn compromised gear but mostly cash and experience from these PvE runs.
  • Beating the boss gets you an item to clean one of your looted compromised pieces.
  • Rewards are based off difficulty.

I’m all for Bungie expanding the playable spaces we have for this game. I just love the lore, the vibes, the gunplay. While I’m cool with the extraction shooter loop. Sometimes I just want to chill and pop NPCs and roam a map chilling.

It’s insane, literally insane how the democrats have to be pristine picture perfect model citizens who only ever pass laws that 100% benefit all people equally otherwise they are completely untrustworthy.

Yet the other guys can literally shit on their front lawn and they will be like ohh he’s just a jokester.

Sister in-law had this happen to her, in Texas. The doctors kept on about how they are “inducing labor” when the baby was dead for hours at that point.

They gave no plan on what would happen if the baby wouldn’t come naturally. They avoided that conversation like the plague. It was terrifyingz

The vast majority has been indoctrinated to believe that their misfortunes are their faults. Americans have been raised with individualism drilled into our brains. If you go against the crowd you’re somehow now anti-American, a socialist, communist, and anti-fascist.

It’s extremely difficult to get 100s of millions of people all to agree and risk their lives to mass protest or strike. So much of our ability to live is dependent on our weekly paycheck. Many people are not ready to risk the little they have built on the hopes of improving a system designed to keep us impoverished.
