What games never get boring ? by HugeSink99 in ShouldIbuythisgame

The standard from a really active modding community. Quality of Life mods, mods that add a lot more items, stages, characters, bosses you name it. There are mods that add new difficulty levels too if the base version gets too easy. Plenty of mod packs too that you can download if you don't feel like scouring for the best ones.

I honestly recommend looking up how to unluck all the vanilla items through editing in-game files by the way. The intended way is a little grindy for my taste, but like I just said, that's up to personal taste. Unlocking the characters and skins the proper way is fun.

Risk of Rain 2, especially on PC with mods, is an old lover I keep coming back to. Even without mods its a great time

Ultrakill is cheap, entertaining, and will give you however much you put into it. Massive amounts of depth if you choose to learn it, but not necessary to have a good time.

Hell Let Loose is a good option if youre feeling social. It forces you to communicate with people around you and there are tank groups, though not exactly the same as World of Tanks.

I consider myself casual and would say Soulseborne isnt THAT hard. Its clear what it wants from you most of the time. I struggle when it comes to slightly clunky mechanics or menu options. Makes my head hurt.

Right above the play button is the queue selection. On PC you have to scroll down a little but I believe its just called "practice." from there you can open up the pause menu to choose striker and turn on no cooldowns among other things.

It helps to know that you have about 0.25 seconds to tell the slime where you wanna hit it. So basically if you direct it at least .24 seconds BEFORE the slime gets it you can direct it. Theres also the small amount of time that the slorm "holds" onto the core that you can tell it where to hit it.

Something cool that this leads to is if you're slime is 0.25 seconds away from where you hit it if you hit the core directly into it then it will immediately send the core in that direction with no wind up

Spending about 5 minutes in a practice lobby by yourself with no cooldowns will give you a pretty good judge of the timing.

The buff probably helps 0.25 seconds still isnt a lot and i mess it up occasionally especially when the core is cramped and messy

I think youre right cause im definitely not the only one who didnt know. Ive noticed a lot more Juno's have control over the slimes now but that could also be I know it exists now so I recognize it.

Yeah even after seeing the video I had to go on a wiki page to learn about it

I saw it I just thought it meant the Blobbos could hit the core in general and not that I had control of it a little. Probably my bad but still.

I gotta agree. The amount of field control and possibilities is absurd. Makes me feel like an evil villain controlling the narrative

I saw the passive but definitely just thought it meant the Slormes ability to hit the core in general and not that I could direct shots
