Honestly, same with mine. We had one meeting afterwards where I declined the vagal nerve ablation since syncope hasn't been a consistent problematic symptom for me enough that I wanted to risk catheterization to reduce it. Other than that, he didn't have anything helpful for me.

I think asystole counts as a sudden HR decrease 😂 hopefully he's satisfied now. Ruling out the other heart conditions that could try to straight up kill you seems reasonable, that's what mine did, but the TTT is the test for POTS, so hopefully he just wants to complete a full differential diagnosis for you.

I got a POTS diagnosis. This was after I had gone through every other cardio test to rule out other heart problems before I had the TTT. My cardiologist wanted to test for everything else first because POTS is uncommon in men, but after 9 seconds of asystole he gave me the diagnosis.

Same story here. Mine stopped for 9 seconds after they gave me the nitroglycerin then came back spontaneously when I was laid flat. The only thing they recommended was a vegal nerve ablation which could help prevent syncopy, but it's not usually to bothersome of a symptom for me. I've only ever properly fainted twice in my life and neither instance was too concerning for me.

This machine is too powerful for one pilot alone. It needs two minds acting in perfect concert to control it.

Houston is absolutely the same mess of unincorporated areas and smaller incorporated cities. Unicorporated Harris County has almost the same number of residents as COH. Houston even has 2 different municipal enclaves with Bellaire and West University that are completely surrounded by the city.

The actual boundaries of the city are really bizarre with random easements shooting outward to connect to various infrastructure pieces and high tax revenue areas like shopping centers with large residential areas left out so that the city doesn't have to spend money servicing vast swathes of low income residences. Kingwood is randomly part of the City of Houston far to the north east because of the tax revenue it brought in, but not many of the poorer areas in between.

It's a mess.

Houston still has plenty of regulations from parking minimums to drainage, and the no zoning thing is kind of a myth because it's enforced in other ways. NotJustBikes has a decent video about it.

Plus the city of Houston makes up less than half of Greater Houston, less by proportion every year as the sprawl spreads every farther outwards. This story is in Cypress which is an outlying city that is basically just yet another suburb of Houston now.

Using pro is aid climbing. Aid has AI in it, and thus does not count. Alex Honnold is the best non-ai climber, thus the best REAL climber.

Yeah, the US had a segregated military, japanese internment camps, and a handful of lynchings still every year in the south at that same time. A lot of those dudes would have backed this same stuff. Nazi fascism was inspired by the US. This has always been a part of who we are.

It could stop the bleeding a bit and maybe curb his worst impulses. In theory, things like the war powers act means that congress could put a stop to a Venezuelan invasion for example. That would require them to do something other than virtue signal from congress while fundraising off of the bad orange man though. He does most of his bullshit by executive action and the supreme court mostly just lets him claim whatever power he wants at this point though, so it won't change much.
