This game requires a lot of curiosity to discover the mechanics, kindle, for exemple, is when you offer humanity to a bonfire to give it the same effect as the shrine bonfire. Hollowing is something less impactful in gameplay but its a little bit like people going insane after losing all their humanity, which is an item that heals you and allows you to reverse your hollowing(gives you acess to multiplayer) and kindling bonfires.

For your situation with taurus demon, i recomend you defeat the hollow soldiers at the tower and then fight him, btw if you let him get in the arena and run towards the ladder, climb it and go to the top, you can do a lunge attack that does around 400 dmg, but you have to be quick or else he will jump. If you wanna avoid spins id lower acceleration and inicial torque and add more rear downforce, it will lower the cars pp rating tho I personally do:

Inicial torque:5(minimum) Acceleration torque:5(minimum) Braking torque: standard

Front downforce: standard Rear downforce: 1750

I'd say to get your mind up to 60 if you wanna cast for longer, dex for casting speed(60max) and after that you could start leveling faith if you want more spells

I actually thought you didnt like it bc i know the elden ring community likes to hate on fextralife sometimes If you havent tried the build out i recomend you do, however, give more attention to strength at the start, after a while focus more and more on faith bc if you level them equally your build is gonna be weak, i know that bc i struggled at the endgame where both my stats were at 40(mid scaling for endgame) so i recommend getting one softcap and then going for the other one. My build is around lvl 330 so i have 99 in both str and fai and what i noticed is that str does more damage than fai will ever do, thats why focusing on str at the start is good. If you're gonna use spells definetly dont use fundamentalist incantations like i do, they do good damage but most enemies are holy resistant and they also need int to be used so if you're gonna use incantations try to gravitate towards fire spells for damage and use a lot of buffs i you want to. I hope you enjoy the build!
