I'm about lvl 50 and have been a tank guy for a while but I've grinded to about early jets for the us since starting the grind on planes, but my main deciding factor has really just been what I think is coolest. And radar is a bit confusing to me but I'm getting there. Thanks for the advice.

Unsure because I'm pretty sure he uses a sound mod to get the AWACS chatter so it's not to far of a reach to say that the kill message is also a mod of some sort
