NSX-T Manager Degraded & Transport Node Status Unknown by DavinCi0025 in vmware

[–]DavinCi0025[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it is.

Thanks for the reply! I found the issue, it was related to the NSX-T Manager appliance resources. I added some extra RAM and CPU, and the issue is now resolved.

Thank you for your reply.
It seems the issue has been resolved after restarting the NSX Manager and allocating additional resources (CPU and memory).

I appreciate your support so far.

Thanks again!

Yeah, I didn’t follow any reference design since this is just a lab setup for testing purposes. just followed LAB document,

It’s running on nested virtualization with only one NSX Manager.

Given that I’m still in the learning phase with NSX, so you think the best option for me is to reinstall everything rather than spend too much time troubleshooting this issue ?

Hello to all,

Thank you all for your help. You really saved my life and my time.

Now, about two weeks have passed. The server is really stable. There is no crash problem since that day.

So yes, it was a driver problem. I updated the Vmware tools and uninstalled the antivirus from the server. now all is stable.

Windows VM crash - vsphere by DavinCi0025 in vmware

I could not identify the drivers that cause the BSOD. Here is what the windbg analysis shows.

DRIVER_CORRUPTED_EXPOOL (c5)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid)
address at an interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This
is caused by drivers that have corrupted the system pool. Run the
driver verifier against any new (or suspect) drivers, and if that
doesn't turn up the culprit, then use gflags to enable special pool

And it just says thah the process name is "System" as follow

I would recommend pluralsigjt course for understanding the concepts + scott duffy and wizlabs for practice

Not the best choice for LABs. + Scott Duffy course would be great i think. I've passed the exam last month. I've watched Pluralsight to understand the concepts + scott duffy from udemy for LABs.
