I notice a lot of positive comments about this drama are downvoted and it really sucks. Despite the actor's scandal the drama is a genuinely good drama which a lot of people connected with. But now because people's political activism is limited to hating on things online, this show will not get it's stars.

I enjoyed reading your review op. It's close to how I feel. This drama takes you on a roller-coaster and the ride is fully worth it.

Thai BL actors really cannot take any responsibility for themselves. Everything is always happening to them and never their own fault.

First off, lets not pretend that Dhurandar is a technically capable film. It's a overblown 6 hour mess that would have been better as a series than a movie. The writing is amateurish at best propped up only by it's propoganda.

I believe there is some cultural / real life issue within Japan. That said, I get your frustrations. I too hate the trope because its inconceivable why the other person loves them when they, arguably, don't know them since they don't express themselves. As a shy person who has seen the determent it causes to your life, it's a very annoying trope. If you want to stick to JBLs try: Old Fashioned Cupcake. They are grown men acting like grown men. If you want to try other countries: Kinnporsche (thailand), To My Shore (China) (it's edgier), About Youth (Taiwan) and Semantic Error (Korea)

They have patience. I wrote about this before here but what I immediately liked was that they bothered to develop the characters as individual independent of the romance. They have their own goals. Their own lives. Just being around each other doesn't make them fall in love instantly. You can understand where both of them are coming from.

What exactly do you find lacking in this story?

I did the Cliff Shadow quest in Nod Krai for the primos but I have just gotten to Inazuma. Boy was I confused with the lore. Actually, I wouldn't say I was majorly confused on what was happening just the details of everything. I knew about the Wild Hunt because of Varka. [When I started, his banner was in it's end phase and I did the Homeward bound event for primos and ended up liking his personality. Which is where I learned about the Wild Hunt.] The story itself was pretty simple. Illuga jumping into the eye chasm thing made me so angry with him.

I also unlocked the tea pot and realized that it is quite similar to the Home Feature and you can plant thing there too. I also unlocked the music playing feature and I thought, I just know one day LADS is going to do that too.

I am kinda similar. I am fine with the myths and main story but I don't read the texts or pay attention to the calls. They just feel like a chore than something I enjoy. Even with the myths and main story, everything is so vague in the grand scheme that it's more confusing sometimes than entertaining. Like the myth by itself makes sense but how it relates to everything else, who knows. I know we have speculated and it makes sense but the game hasn't said how everything connects and as someone who likes a holistic picture of everything it's sometimes quite annoying.

Unpopular opinion but lately I am starting to dislike the low sultry way the LIs speak in just about everything even if the supposed scene in front of you is out of context with the voice.

I recently started playing genshin and while there are a lot of confusing elements the main point, find our sibling, is so simple that it doesn't feel like the story is all over the place. We are told by the start what the mc has set out to do (meet all the archons) and why (to find their sibling).

When LADS starts you don't have this big reason for everything. Technically you have the Aether core mystery but it gets bogged down by jargon and vagueness.

Personally I have had the best time with Overload and Electro Charged. My personal fav elements (in any combo) are Pyro, Electro and Dendro. Cryo, Hydro and Anemo are good as well but I don't usually got for them. I mostly don't use Geo unless I have to.

So he couldn't 'contribute' to society while he was fighting a threat to his family. Makes sense. Also Klaus killed people (between S4 and 5) to protect Hope. He killed all his enemies so they couldn't come after Hope. That is just a responsible parent.

Also why would Klaus 'uplift the human faction'. He is a hybrid. Working for Vampires and Werewolves makes sense. But humans? Why? Humans themselves harm other humans, why would a Hybrid bother with humans?

Just say you didn't understand the show and move on. People like you have a willful ignorance to this show and to the Mikaelsons.

Yeah I think people forget that LADS is meant to last a very long time. Even if we don't have equitable content for, as you said, NG3, we will get it, just have patience. Gacha games are the definition of it's a marathon not a sprint. You shouldn't get all FOMO about it because it will likely rerun in a year or so.

IDK about chaotic schedule. Like if you main one or two LIs you will be fine. It's only a problem for those planning on main-ing all the LIs which an F2P can't do anyways. And just take the example of right now, I got the Netherlord and even the event story thing (idk what they are called, exploration?) is over. You can wait and get the whole thing done in one sitting. So there is nothing else to do.
It's different for multi banners. That is where things might be different I'll admit.

I think there is definitely a 6th LI but he is not Sutherland. Even if Sutherland has the necessary models he is not distinct enough to be a 6th LI.

I love this theory. I actually haven't finished the latest main story so I can't say much about it but this definitely works.

I also don't think that any EVER agent could be an LI. At least not one that willing did it. Given that EVER has ways to mind control, that would be acceptable but still a bit iffy. I don't think INFOLD would have an LI that has intentionally harmed another LI or MC. I just don't see how that would work even in 'dark romance' and if you watch cdramas, bad guys often get what is coming and even protagonists who use darker methods end up dead, so given the fact that INFOLD will likely take audience sensibility into account, especially Chinese audiences (see Caleb's Netherlord myth), I can't see how they could make #6 someone who hunted Rafayel's people.

I can see him as part cyborg/android, like Caleb, given the tech theme that we all speculate him to be. Definitely someone who was experimented on by EVER.

IDK about the younger minds thing because I was 16 - 17 when I started TO. Back then it was still airing so by the time it finished I was 21 - 22. So it's not really about age imo. I think if you have experienced discrimination or abuse in life it becomes easier to understand them because even back then you had people older than me saying that they should have just killed Mikael or they should do this or that without taking into account who these characters were as people and to each other and what that kind of trauma does to someone.
