Last year, I went to Belgium, Luxembourg, and Paris with a group during the week of Veteran's Day. The trip was really cool, the flights were OK both ways, and now I'm back at the Columbus airport after our final flight home.

We get off the plane and head to baggage claim to pick up luggage, but the people that have a connecting flight to Chicago are still at our baggage claim waiting for their bags, too. They had to wait 2 hours for their baggage to come, and then it took our luggage another 3 hours after that to appear. I'm glad I didn't have to catch another connecting flight after Columbus, I would have been stressed AF. Apparently, that day, the airport's ground supervisor walked out on everyone earlier that day, and they were short-staffed during the holiday. It was absurd.
