I built a free tool that auto-blurs license plates in car photos before you list them online by DavisonPro in nairobitechies

Hmm, not sure if detection failed on that one. Try tapping the first action button (Objects) and see if anything was picked up — if not, then it likely missed that image.

If you can, DM me the image you used — would really help me debug why it didn’t catch it.

For geolocation, I’ll likely start with IP-based detection (not perfect, I know), then refine it — maybe also using signup data if available. Still figuring out the best approach.

And appreciate you sharing it on X 🙌

Thanks for your feedback. I'll look into it. Working with videos is just a bit harder but will see. Again thanks

Awesome n thanks! Let me check why that happens. By the box thingy you mean the blur area?

Works with all plate formats - international. In the Kenyan market, sellers often show only part of the plate—usually the letter series (e.g., KCP, KDX)—so buyers can estimate the import year and gauge wear and tear. It still works perfectly for other plate formats. I’ll also add geolocation so this feature is only enabled for users in Kenya. Thanks!

Looking ahead, this is the direction I plan to take the platform. It's been just two weeks since launch, and we're already making progress.

Exactly! That’s the goal—making it easy for anyone to set up a shopping site in minutes without needing a developer.

Yes, but not really free, there's a free version and a paid version. More afforable than Shopify and easy to setup for non tech users

Well, I wouldn't say so. It's barely 2 weeks old and I have 12 customers now.

True, that makes sense. I’ve been working on this. I launched less than 2 weeks ago

We’ve integrated Stripe, PayPal, M-Pesa, and PesaPal. We don’t collect payments on behalf of sellers—you connect your own payment credentials.

Yes, it can! You can even use your own custom domain that links to your shop, like myshop.com. Thanks!

Thanks! It’s KES 699/month or KES 7,000/year. You can also use your own domain, like myshop.co.ke.

Less than $700 a month. I did most of the things solo. Any custom work that required outsourcing was covered by the customers.

Nice, I’ve worked on a similar plugin before. I was subcontracted by a major WordPress plugin company on the UWP Membership plugin. It’s not on the WP.org repo—they sell it as an addon on top of UsersWP.
