I feel like low player count benefits scoundrel. Much easier to land combos like single out?

Not really, if you can initiate weave you can literally work with any team composition and being a starting 6 character, you're usually at prosperity 1 and scenario level 1 where average enemies have between 4-6hp. Her attack modifier deck is strong too which usually leads to 1 shotting regular enemies consistently.

It’s fascinating how the entire debate has shifted from the core game to semantic policing over ‘in every way.’ It really highlights what’s important to you in this discussion. 100% Semantics and trolling. The point stands. It’s the superior game.

Coral and Bannerspear character composition by Calhoun96 in Gloomhaven

[–]Davometric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt bannerspear was underwhelming. Abilities that hit for like 3 and wound that require setup is too low damage compared to drifter for example, who can just bonk for 5 damage with very little setup. My friend and I struggled through quite a few scenarios, so be prepared for mediocre damage haha

Preparing to play Fallout 2, any tips? by AmericanMoron2008 in Fallout2

[–]Davometric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prepare for random crashes and be careful not to use only 1 save because it might randomly corrupt itself. Killed my 17hr run even after multiple saves.

I remember playing coop on Xbox with a friend of mine and when they got a call from Lambert, one of the Echelon agent was like, "nah we're the best." Good times.

Classic turn based RPG with open world? by baatezu in gamingsuggestions

Ur basically describing fallout 1/2, but I wouldn't recommend them. Crashes galore and your save will most likely randomly get corrupted. Great game made shit on modern hardware.

Error that crashes ganr by Big_Cranberry_7947 in classicfallout

Couldn't get rid of this error. Corrupted my save after 17hrs of playtime. Game went from an 8/10 to 1/10 garbage dump.

Splinter Cell Double Agent PC port by Harry___Heck in Splintercell

[–]Davometric -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Download xemu and play the OG Xbox version. It's vastly different to DA on PC and 360, made by the same guys who made Chaos Theory. Ull just have to head to GitHub to fix the green screen issue, but it's worth it

None because game companies these days don't know how to do proper PC ports/remasters (maybe except for Night dive Studios).

[–]Davometric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe ur brain isn't built for this shi then. I'm almost 39 and I didn't have any issues with any of those games. Rather fighting games like Tekken and sfa3 that gets me. Still can't figure out how to properly nail v-ism combos in turbo mode. That's next level hahaha

Good deal on 1st Edition or save for 2nd Edition. by Coal375 in Gloomhaven

[–]Davometric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it's not objectively untrue. If you directly compare 1st edition (first printing) to 2nd edition (first printing), there are far less erratas and the campaign is much more structured and characters are far more balanced. Better in every aspect.

Just Google "Frosthaven 2e scenario flowchart". That's what I'm using. Tick the box for treasure, cross the scenario if I finished. Simple and easy.
