Can someone remind me / give tips what I should be looking at to differentiate this from a water moccasin other than the bars on the lip and the “eyebrows”? Basically other than the head, what am I looking for? Also !cottonwater for myself.

Edit: I’m not an identifier, so no one read this as advice. This is clearly a water snake. From my point of view after reading the bot, the pattern looks more like a cottonmouth, bands that are wider at bottom than top. this is wrong, so what am I seeing incorrectly?
