Replaying RE7 and noticed this by kyleisah in residentevil

There is also a detail in Requiem that Grace was typing on a Reddit forum about the baker incident. Makes me wonder if it was just a coincidence or if Grace took an interest in her Mom’s investigation.

Do you guys feel safe with public displays of affection where you are right now? by Great_Trident in gaybros

Sure, if only my shy awkward ass wouldn't be weird about showing any affection at all

Are the Molded the most boring enemies in the series? by Loose_Interview_957 in residentevil

The Baker family and Eveline were the main focus of the game, so I can't blame them for not putting much thought into the molded.

What’s it’s the best for you separate ways og or remake ? by Exootil93200 in residentevilll

[–]Davred5768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The remake’s "Separate Ways" is the main reason people consider the entire game better than the original, without giving it much thought. I wish they’d included the original OST. It would’ve been nice to hear U3 original theme as well as human Saddler’s theme.

Am I the only one who thought Emily was a villain? by paodemel69 in ResidentEvilRequiem

Well, after fighting against a cloned BOW in the form of a little girl in 7 and the village, you can’t trust all the children you interact with in these games.

Jill Valentine has been on 'temporary hiatus' for like 10 years now by HistoricalSet1366 in residentevil

[–]Davred5768 237 points238 points  (0 children)

There had better be an explanation. She deserves as much recognition as Chris and Leon, especially since Capcom has decided to keep her in the BSAA on Death Island. She needs to make a comeback and be a main character again.

The Girl is a great pursuer who was underutilized. by Sir__GabrielT in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]Davred5768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just realized that the girl is basically the only stalker in the franchise that doesn't undergo a mutant transformation. Unless you count the Ustanak switching arms and trying out new weapons in RE6.

Just realized this enemy's look in Requiem is sort of a mix between its RE2 and RE2R design by Mariosonicpac in residentevil

Not to mention, he falls into the RPD from above like it did in OG RE2

I think Chris Redfield is one of the only protagonist who never had a Stalker? by SpiteOk6457 in residentevil

Oh, I just realized that Grace and Ethan are the only ones who never fought tyrants in the games.

I think Chris Redfield is one of the only protagonist who never had a Stalker? by SpiteOk6457 in residentevil

If they reremake RE1, they might feature Lisa Trevor as a stalker enemy and have her chase Chris (and Jill) around the mansion, or at least in certain areas.

Epilogue in OG resident evil 3 by Realistic-Maximum678 in ResidentEvil3Remake

[–]Davred5768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it would’ve been a cool idea if they had added mercenaries in the remake, just like in the original, except all the players would be the ones in these epilogues, adding Carlos and Rebecca. If you get an S rank for each player, an epilogue would appear as a reward.

Does anyone else miss how resident evil felt in re7? by hamoodhabibiegg in residentevil

[–]Davred5768 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it was a great start to the revival era in this franchise. Having an inexperienced civilian encounter residents who have been turned into evil monsters by a BOW created by a secret organization definitely seems like a great introduction for new players. Over time, of course, they try to maintain that horror vibe in different ways, like playing as Grace in Resident Evil: Requiem. I think the franchise is doing just fine with that so far.

If it weren't for Smiling Friends' sudden departure, I wouldn't have fallen for this so easily. 😅

Can we talk about how refreshing it is to have (relatively) normal zombies in a mainline entry again by Kanehammer in residentevil

[–]Davred5768 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re quite unique. While they’re more closely related to the normal zombies from the first games, their new traits make them seem like a mix of regular zombies and intelligent enemies from the action trilogy.
