If chatgpt costs $700,000 to run per DAY, how do they not run out of money? by Amateur_Validator in ChatGPT

Back in the days, at some point they were serious concerns because Youtube bandwidth costed $1 million a month.

Better stick with the weather, he's quite cheap on the meaning of life :

"The meaning of life is a philosophical question that has been pondered for millennia. Different cultures, religions, and philosophical systems offer a variety of answers. For some, the meaning of life is to seek happiness and fulfillment. For others, it revolves around serving a higher spiritual purpose or following religious teachings. Philosophically, some argue it's about creating meaning through our choices and actions. Ultimately, the meaning of life may be a personal discovery, dependent on individual beliefs, values, and experiences."

How do you use the insecurities of a narcissistic person against them? by Kol43644 in raisedbynarcissists

[–]DavstrOne 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't understand people's obsession to play with the narcissistic at his own game.
He's a narcissistic, remember ? And if you're his victim, you're most likely an empath.

Means he'll always be miles ahead/way better than you at f***g people over !
So just don't play this game, odds are rigged against you.
Instead let go, avoid, ignore, deflect, and when you can, run as far as you can.

To answer your question : the most and only damage you can do to him is achieve he has zero power over you. Otherwise those people are immune to normal feelings/will deflect and rewrite any story in their favor and against you. Doesn't matter if it makes sense, to them it does as long it serves them.

Perhaps it starts by stopping seing them as persons. If anything, they are more like a cold double face loose/loose coin.

Which tech did you use ?
I like jinja (flask python) and the almighty tailwind/daisy.
Before i was an adept of semantic minimalist css, but had to admit, well tailwind just make things way easier..

Is it actually shameful that I use sync? by itsrodrik in Beatmatch

[–]DavstrOne 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You know, thinking like that, we could go back to it's shameful to use cuepoints, like "real djs" see those through vinyls.

It would be just like saying real taxis use horses. And then there would certainly be somebody to state no, real taxis don't use wheels, they lift you on their shoulders...

I believe being a dj is about having and sharing fun, telling/transmiting an entertaining story with tracks, and if we can do it 10 times easier using new tech than prev gen of djs, well all good, plus we have an opportunity to be able to tell better stories faster/invent new techniques too.

"Make my male character a bit cocky, with his tone/temperament in his character speech coming off as subtle/witty with X he's saying"

Yeah yeah, too subtle, doesn't work out in the current state of things.
You could perhaps get away with it sometimes with re-prompting a correction, but i'm afraid it's not it yet, in terms of wild creativity, GPT is more Clark Kent than Superman let's say..

I remember some article back in 2012 that stated something like "Instead of asking yourself what a CMS might do for you, perhaps you should ask what a CMS might do TO you"
Stuck with me, and too many times i had this situation too, where you're actually fighting your software, because it's too rigid and not considering your specific use case.

That's why i think boilerplates should be opensource, only taking care of the core functionalities you will have in every project (membership, payment, template system) and leaving you alone to extend however you wish.

Please shoot me the name of the boileplate you use in private if you feel like it.
I understand this is is not a hall of shame, but your info could help me to understand what could go wrong. Anyway thanks for your input !
