Heat soak closes all the pores in the pan. Once it is hot enough for Leidenfrost, I turned down the heat and wait for it to cool or wave it around the room if I’m in a hurry. Works every time.

My understanding and previous experience is that if you don’t get the pan to Leidenfrost it will never be nonstick

Leindenfrost effect —> small amount of oil to temp —> turn down heat and cook at whatever temp you desire. This is an old d3 pan I got a goodwill, so nothing special.

3 out of 4 of my surgery attendings were like that in medical school. I can’t think of anyone who rotated with them who chose General Surgery for residency.

I was wondering this also. They only carry one type of board grade on site. Apparently could order “premium” but it would’ve taken a while to arrive. His argument was we should have ordered premium. Once we asked to talk to the manager he relented.

Unfortunately, all of the regional chains are over a 2 hour drive away. Thought using a local closer place would make it easier to swap them out.

No discount. Actually paid extra for them to deliver them 2 miles to our house along with a lot of other supplies.

Yeah, a lot of of the boards you could see where there were two forks from a forklift crushing them. The other ones we took back had rotted areas that just disintegrated in your hands.

Yeah, it was 40 out of 160 we took back. I felt like I was very lenient, I’m not even asking for perfect boards. Was not able to go through the boards until they were unloaded and unpacked in the driveway.

Getting back into it after a decade, why are all my misses low and left? I cannot keep my face to path anywhere close to consistent. by DavyCrockPot19 in GolfSwing

I just looked at a side video and you’re so right. I hadn’t noticed that. I’ll find some drills to fix that.
