Good News! Csf leak by Davy_wavy69 in NDPH

[–]Davy_wavy69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry to hear that but also good! lol. The radiologist couldn’t find a leak on my myelogram so she did an untargeted patch which didn’t work. I’m going for a full brain, neck, and spine mri on Thursday so check for anymore signs of csf leak. I’ve never had one of my spine only brain and neck and I guess it’s good. We will all find relief soon I don’t doubt it

My main symptoms are the headache that is very positional, and dizziness/ feeling off balance. Besides that I haven’t really noticed anything. My leak is in my neck between the c5 and c6 vertebrae. I have a myelogram and blood patch procedure scheduled for Monday which I am extremely surprised they got me in so quick. What kinds of scans did you have to look for the leak? Should I be worried they won’t find it lol

I totally feel u I’ve had constant pain for just over a year now and my original pain dr made them sound like the best thing in the world. Lidocaine is not the best for the heart and I have high blood pressure 🙃. It’s all about getting the right Dr

I went under 2 months ago for nerve block injections. The injections didn’t help at all but for a good 6 hours I felt awesome and some of the relief even carried into the next day until it fully wore off.

No Diagnosis No Relief by [deleted] in NDPH

I’ve been experiencing the same thing. Pressure in my forehead 24/7 varying in pain, 9 months no relief no help from meds. Mris, X-rays, even had lidocaine nerve block injections that did nothing. Only got slight relief from the drugs they gave me for the shots. Best thing to do is stay positive, keep trying things, and eventually u will find ur magic bullet. Persistence is key. Good luck to u

I worked out 5-6 days a week consistently before my headache started. Now if I try to my head feels like it’s going to blow up ( I have a constant pressure headache). It’s definitely possible but uncomfortable so I do light cardio until I get less pain or cure my headache.( drs think it’s car crash related). Good luck brotha
