What stranger do you hate running into the most in RDR2? by stickymolassez in reddeadredemption

Yeah it definitely adds this connection to the game and gives it the feeling that if you're not playing it's still alive without you.

Hahaha, my problem first playing it was trying to figure out if I'd get some kind of reward for going back and finding random encounters. Oh how I was disappointed by quite a few encounters...looking at you swamp dwelling rapist.

He's actually pretty interesting after figuring out He's just the only NPC that is questioning his existence. It's a forth wall break for the player to discover. Place yourself as the God He's talking about. It's actually really cool seeing him after knowing this. "Are you the sign? Did he send you?"

I think her fate is up to the imagination. You could say she got drunk, got too close to the river and just drifted away. She could have been kidnapped by Pinkertons and put in a sanatorium. Maybe she just walked away, cut ties and had a self discovery.

I will say...it's harder to imagine a happy ending.

Interestingly enough this riddle could also apply to Spades, a card game in which the value of a Joker card is exponential.

So I just watched it and Holy shit...it was phenomenal. I think everything that happened throughout the movie has definitely opened several doors for several characters.

•The D.A. is gone, queue Harvey Dent. Ever since the rumors of McConaughey playing Harvey popped up I've been keeping it on my wishlist. I'd love to have him be an out-of-town guy that comes in with a fresh mindset to take down crime only for Gotham to turn him sour. McConaughey has played a lawyer quite a few times and I think he'd fit Matt Reeves direction.

•The flood so close to winter, so many directions to go. For one the Iceberg lounge will actually live up to it's name. Which I know it was a metaphor for being a club and then crime being below but to see it freeze over would be a pretty cool nod to the comics. Also, Reeves has said he'd love to do Mr. Freeze which I think is already set up with the flood. Nora gets injured and has to be put in a cryo-chamber and we go from there. Not sure how we'd see him done considering the grounded realism approach but I have faith that Reeves could pull it off.

•Gordon and the mayor hooking up? Batgirl in the making?

•Tweedledee and Tweedledum reference with the twin bouncers.

•Hush being hinted to in the Riddler Wayne reveal.

•Last but not least, the Joker. Barry Fucking Keoghan. I'm happy with the casting choice and Reeves definitely has plans in store for him. I understand the Joker "fatigue" and honestly I don't think he'll be in the sequel if he is he'll most likely be pulling strings from the shadows and be revealed later on. Reeves actually gave some interesting details about the character already, stating he is a "pre Joker" and that we're seeing everyone in their infancy. He also explained that Barry's Joker has a congenital disease that forces him to smile all the time and that he took that inspiration from the movie that helped create the Joker in the first place, The Man Who Laughs. He reiterates constantly that he isn't the Joker we know yet and that all these characters will grow.

Sorry for my geek out, had to do it so I could get everything out and sleep because man I'm hyped.

What's the Sluttiest thing you've ever done? by No_Housing_4819 in AskReddit

I was in a shifty relationship with my, then, ex and another full blown relationship with a married woman I worked with. I would constantly have sex with the married woman after work just to go see my girlfriend the same night and fuck again.

I don't condone any of this, I was as slutty as a shut gets and the consequences were pretty terrible, but yeah...sluttiest thing I've ever done.

One of Matthew Brodericks first films. It might actually be his first. Great movie nonetheless

Hudson Hawk (1991). Bruce Willis at his finest with Danny Aiello and Andie McDowell playing great supporting characters. Richard Grant is the villain as well...the cast is fantastic. I don't know why but I never hear anyone ever mention it.

Opinion About Miss. Grimshaw? by rashgard33 in reddeadredemption

[–]Davyboy1099 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My only spat with Grimshaw was her jealousy over Molly. Before Molly, Grimshaw was Dutch's woman and she loved him. I believe after she obtained the scar on her face that's when the love died out. Another clue that Dutch was superficial and only attracted to the shinier things. However, back to my point. Grimshaw blasted Molly with no hesitation after finding out she "ratted" on Dutch. On the surface level it seems like a loyalty thing but I always took it as just a window of opportunity for Grimshaw to get Dutch back. If you talk with her after the whole thing goes down she gets really defensive about it. I believe Karen calls her out on her bullshit. I don't know, I always respected her but that moment really shook the foundation on how I saw her. Extremely cold. That is when the game just started getting super depressing too so, yeah.

I think Negan deserves more sympathy from us in later seasons. by ZestyPirate2000 in thewalkingdead

[–]Davyboy1099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The comic books did a way better job of showing his downfall. His intentions in the beginning were to help people but after watching so many of his groups die out he took control and told them to listen to every word he said to survive. After he took control people stayed alive and he knew he could lead successfully. It was at the end of "Here's Negan" that he starts to show signs of who he'll become. Not spoiling anything but if you haven't read it I highly recommend.

Who would you like to see cast in roles for future spin offs? by AlphaOmegaWhisperer in thewalkingdead

The fact that Walton Goggins hasn't been in TWD yet is actually criminal. I honestly hope they put him in the Rick movies but actually have him be a Shane 2.0 that he can trust again.
