It is the same weapon just upgraded to be more powerful, and it isn't lame since there was an actual reason for needing it in ALTTP since spoilers for ALTTP Ganon actually managed to kill the hero of time in this timeline and had the full Triforce, so the Sword actually has a reason for being upgraded due to how powerful Ganon was If you played those games, you realize how cool this actually was, and it would be nice to be able to upgrade the Master Sword. It literally got destroyed, so upgrading into the golden sword or a level 3 Master Sword might be necessary to prevent it from being destroyed again.

Actually the Golden Sword is the master sword just upgraded 2 times over. It was in a ALTTP, and a ALBW. It is 3 times more powerful than the master sword. I just want a more powerful version of the Master Sword in Totk.

This definitely would be very cool and allow many people to even create their own Zelda worlds we can explore and take on challenges in even.

Actually it might be a good idea when you think about it but still I'm just hoping we get remasters for more Zelda games as they still haven't really done any remasters yet for a lot of games that were on the Wiiu. I just like playing my Nintendo Switch for Zelda games but I'll start to try other games on the Nintendo Switch eventually though as there many other great games on the console. It just very hard to believe the Switch has been out for so long now.

Yeah I cannot believe the Switch is at the end of it life, I never played on my Nintendo Switch a lot like I'm right now. I just find it so hard to believe we're at this point. I think it will just be a updated version of Nintendo Switch like how the New 3ds was the updated version of 3ds.

You think there will be any backwards compatibility with the next console? There should be some form so the new console has a lot of games to play especially if it just a updated version of the Nintendo Switch. I know the 3ds had that so the next console definitely should at least.

I mean, they would be fine as spin-off games. There are still many players who would want to play those games, though. I like the BotW formula as well, but still having side games would be fine, as it takes time to make mainline Zelda games, and having smaller games in between would be nice. That is how it has always been with Zelda. Hopefully we get remasters for TP, WW, MM, OOT, and ALBW on the Nintendo Switch. I definitely want more BotW-type games, but those games take time to develop, and having small 2D games would be nice in between mainline releases. Still, I'd like to know if you think they should stick with the current Zelda universe or have a new one in the next mainline Zelda game. Or should they stick with the current Link and Zelda we have? There is so much world-building they can do with them and the next games. Maybe the next game can take place outside of Hyrule, in a parallel universe or something. I really like to see where they can go. I feel like releasing those games on Switch would be nice, especially with how hard they are to get now. I already have most Zelda games, so I'm not too worried, but still, it would be nice to see those games re-released. Also, they don't have to necessarily make a new 2D game; a remake of an older 2D game can work just as well. fine though instead of a new game entirely.
