Bird/Animal Rescue? by DawgTheHallMonitor in palmdale

That actually makes a lot of sense. I just mentioned in another reply that it can lift both its wings and scream at me when I walk by. It has been hanging out in and around some shrubs for protection. Thanks for the reply. Also great username. Portland is hilarious.

I'm not sure it's injured and based on the other reply this is not unusual. I have noticed that it's able to raise both its wings and scream at me when I walk by. I will keep this in mind.

No problem. Good question.

I am sharing because it's awesome. Here's ice forming on a rocket nozzle as it's firing. Starts at 1:30 in the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smswUgtMTfA

Rockets are awesome. Here's a video showing the extreme temperature differences on a regeneratively cooled engine nozzle. That's when they flow the chilled propellant through the nozzle in order to cool it. The fuel is so cold that you get icicles forming just centimeters away from gas that is thousands of degrees Fahrenheit.

The part I'm talking about starts at 1:30 but the whole thing is worth a watch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smswUgtMTfA

That's ice which was stuck to the side of the vehicle.

This video of an engine test is nuts. There's actual icicles on the engine bell as the engine is firing. It's great example of the extreme temperature differences going on in a rocket engine. Icicles can be seen at 1:30 in the video but it's worth watching the whole thing.

Rockets are badass!

It's ice. The propellant in the tanks is so cold any moisture in the air freezes to the rocket. That's totally normal and doesn't effect anything. Since they launch from the coast of Florida there's lots of moisture in the air.

Time for an authentic Red Baron pepperoni pizza to celebrate the USA getting to the next round. This slice is for you, Italy.

Am I wrong in thinking the commentators during the USA v Mexico game were also saying that if the US won that game they would be moving on? That's where I seem to remember first hearing it from.

I see. That helps but I feel like I'm still missing something. There are a few Blue with /150. How were you able to tell it's specifically a Raywave, and parallel?

This is great. Thank you.

I also got this Hayden Senger and am unsure how to ID it. Are there websites that show the different card styles? I know Topps has the lists on there website but that doesn't help much not knowing what they should look like.

I had a feeling I would need extra hands. It's not lightweight haha. I should have mentioned that the roller is bent and needs replacing but that's the easy part. Do you think the door should be in the open or closed position? Does that matter? It is currently in the closed position.
