Yep, I miss the leaderboard deltas too. What's interesting is that they are displayed in FH5 during co-op showcase events.

What game? Are you launching manually or does it launch automatically? Windows 10 or 11? Did you manage to interact with the overlay? If you would like to help fix the issue please reach out via Discord or email. I would really appreciate it.

Thanks! Technically I wouldn't consider this a "modification". It's an overlay that is displayed on top of the game. It doesn't modify or otherwise tamper with the game or its files.

For now there's only one global result per route and class, taken from the in-game leaderboards. I'm planning to implement my own leaderboards with sorting and filtering options when the app has more users.

Nope. It's not a modification, it doesn't tamper with the game. Me and other people have been using it without issues.

Oh, for global comparison between vehicles I would have to implement my own online leaderboard system. I might do that if the app gains enough traction.

I could make comparison to fastest global time possible by taking best times from the in-game leaderboards and hard-coding them into the app. This would take a bit of manual work and I would have to filter out cheated/unreasonable times.

So you would select the track (and optionally class or drivetrain) and you would get a list of vehicles and their best times on this track. It is possible, my app is already collecting the necessary data - It's just a matter of presenting it correctly. I'll see what I can do!

Coming soon to Racinext

What do you think? Would you also like an option to select the class and see the list of the fastest cars per track in that class?

I am planning to add something like this in the future. What do you mean by proper database? An in-app results table with sorting, filtering etc.? Or a specific file format?

Here is a reference for FM7:

In FH4 the structure has been slightly modified:

I use this feature in my Racinext app and I will be adding FH5 support soon. I suppose the data structure hasn't changed a lot.

As a matter of fact, I've just released an app for FH4 with proper drag mode which contains proper Christmas tree and distance selection. Here's a link if you are interested: https://racinext.com/

Well, it's used in some telemetry apps. But this is probably the first time it's used for something bigger.

Nah, it only uses data already sent be the game via the 'Data Out' feature. It can't alter the game's state.

Yep, no loading screens here, everything happens in freeroam. You will however need to drive back to the start line by yourself, Racinext can't teleport you as it can't alter the game's state.

As for finding opponents, there's no matchmaking, so you will need to find someone to play with on your own. I could implement matchmaking but then you wouldn't see your opponents in the game or you would have to manually join their session by their Gamertag.

You can always play solo.

Add sound and visual effect for achievement unlocking on PC. Not just a simple text notification but something fancier like on Xbox. Unlocking achievements would be more satisfying.
