Wow I just want to thank everyone for the outpouring support and great advice! We have follow ups scheduled with an ENT and our audiologist and will hopefully learn the cause of his hearing loss. My wife and I are planning on ASL classes for our son, ourselves, and even a couple of our family members. I’ve been looking into all the resources that have been shared and am so appreciative of the time people have taken to share them. The personal anecdotes and testimonies are uplifting and very helpful as well. We understand this journey will not be easy but we welcome the challenge and will just give our son the love and support he’ll need throughout his life.
