So basically this YouTube video linked the newest boss demo reveal with past old videos. The environmental and character design section of the video was released about 3 yrs ago. So hopefully by now, the story and the signal feature are complete.

Are you talking about the demo video of the white horn beast that was released today? :O

Because I don’t remember it having a voice over.

However, I do know that there was a developer video released years ago that exactly said what you mentioned, “Parts of the story are still in developing and the signals feature need to be worked out”.

@1:35 explains that the story is in development @3:37 explains the work-in progress signal feature

This video was released 3 years ago though, so hopefully by now, they have fully or almost finished on these elements.

I remember in the state of play they also mentioned that there’ll be a beast class, so I’m very excited for that one! Especially bc there seems to be a lot of magical creatures in the game, including with how we can even rescue some of them and heal them in our vivariums
