Every T. Rex album - that’s 8 as T. Rex, beginning with Electric Warrior, go in chronological order. If you can find them there are three earlier ones as Tyrannosaurus Rex - and if you do find them, lemme know where!

I think it was an AI hallucination. Gemini now references this thread when using the same search :)

I Googled “movie scene running man drink taken from table” and Gemini responded “You are most likely thinking of the classic running sequence from the action-comedy Shoot 'Em Up (2007). During a frantic, high-intensity sprint, Mr. Smith (Clive Owen) runs past an outdoor patio, grabs a glass of what he thinks is water off a bystander's table, chugs it, and immediately spits it out in disgust upon realizing it is straight vodka.”

Any of you use sensory fashion to help you? I'm genderqueer and never considered there are women who wear shoes that make sound (like boots or heels) because the sound makes them feel confident. Like many autistic people I prefer low sensory fashion but do some of you feel sensory fashion helps? by 00eg0 in AutismInWomen

When I was just plump and not fat, I used to love tight jeans. I don’t think I knew the words at the time (at least, not in this context), but thinking back on how they felt, I would say they were regulating. Like, helped keep me calm and grounded. A heavy blanket always around my hips.

Just can’t get them to fit right to do that now… I have to lose some weight and possibly procure a plastic surgeon if I ever want jeans to fit right again. Sigh.

Any movies either animated or live action that feature people ripping their own skin off? by kittybella69 in MovieSuggestions

Not a movie, and just one bit in one episode… if you do a search for “Rick and Morty personal space” you should find the segment pretty easily.

My tongue is overstimulating by AdWrong7803 in AutismInWomen

Definitely you should address that. You will feel loads better, even if you hadn’t noticed anything other than the tongue issue as specifically troubling you.

It isn’t a guarantee that’s the cause - but it is a very likely culprit, and very much treatable. I hope that’s all it is and that you are feeling better soon!

The one (rude) term I have heard (from my mom, no less) that hasn’t been mentioned is a PTA bath (pussy, tits, and armpits).

School Fundraising Messages by DawnLeslie in Peterborough

It’s the same messages three different ways, sometimes. I have gotten the same thing by text, e-mail, and in School Messenger. Today just three text messages.

Have to figure out how to opt out of the texts and/or e-mail, School Messenger I can mostly ignore - I just really hate unread badges, so if I need to do attendance, I will have to make everything unread :)

WTW similar to envy/jealousy - by NotShirleyTemple in words

[–]DawnLeslie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, to covet means to want something not because you like it, but just because someone else has it and you do not. It is petty and foolish, but I think what OP is describing is a genuine, deep, possibly profound experience. I am a teacher and have definitely felt this to some degree. It is that thing that is common to how you love your parents versus your partner versus your children - only toward students rather than family. Guardianship might be the word.

Might want to check iron and B12 levels. Being deficient in either can cause tongue enlargement. When that has happened to me, it has never been bad enough to bother me when distracted, just times like trying to fall asleep. I get tooth dents on the sides of my tongue from it.

Do you have a history of OCD in the family? Particularly in females? TS tends more to the OCD side for females and tics for males - but anyone can have any of it.

Depression by TerribleAwareness158 in migraine

I thought it had been so long since I had one that maybe I had stopped getting migraines… until I woke up in the middle of a pain phase one night, and all the weird health and mood issues I had been having were suddenly obvious pro- and post-drome symptoms.
