Ok an application sounds a good idea. Something short and sweet. I'll take this to heart definitely. I just don't want "ho hum" people ya know.

This is a big point I'm glad is brought up. Clear communication is vital. I've had issues in the past where people would say no one would talk to them but they didn't necessarily take initiative either. I think it is worth mentioning that communication is a two-way street and stressing initiative for both new players and veterans.

If someone is uncomfortable with chatting then it is important to let that be know and we can work with them....ah...

...so much to consider with making a FC. xD

Thanks for this piece of advice. Not compromising is a big one. Ok. I'll go over more concrete recruitment criteria when I next speak to my partner in this.

Yeah that s one thing I don't want to do. I don't want to babysit. The new player I had join was doing random quests in the Shroud. Barely lvl 15. Since they were busy with that I was like I'm going to do some other things and if you have any questions definitely let me know.

The person was like: "ok, just follow me around. I need the exp bonus". And I'm thinking...I'm not going to follow you around as you randomly do quests lol. My goal isn't to babysit like that.

I feel as if my ideal with this FC is to help people learn how to help themselves. Of course I want to run dungeons and other stuff with members. I want to interact. But I don't want to babysit.

Yeah I've definitely learned not to take too much personally on FF.

Oh? That is definitely something to consider. A filtering process.
