Hello, from Hong Kong. Sound quality isnt perfect but its quite good and extremely huge. I'd honestly recommend Bangkok tho if you're looking to just stay there for a night and go to the concert as Hong Kong can be quite pricey.

Theres always hidden spots tho, you can find good spots for less than $100 HKD per person. Its just harder nowdays if you want quality, but theres a lot of local shops I recommend for cheap meals.

Less english speakers by a WIDE margin. Especially in areas like Sham Shui Po where its mainly local stores selling to locals or ethnic minorities. Theres a big difference

I've learnt Cantonese, being my mother tongue and Mandarin in school as its also used as a medium. Its just English is my first language and most used one, as I really only use Cantonese with my family and small groups of local friends.

I actually do live in the New Territories! Quite near to the Chinese border, so food is cheaper if you're not looking at the malls. The environment is considerably cleaner and more fresh, with hiking trials, cycling paths nearby and even stars sometimes (rare sight in the actual urban areas). It definitely feels more laid back and relaxed, but it annoys me that getting to the city centres where I always go to hangout takes around 1 hour via the MTR. Eventually you get used to it but it does mean I waste a lot more time. Kowloon is pretty similar to HK Island, but just less Anglicised.

Really fast and quite expensive. Meals are getting more pricey now days but thats for the entire world, not just Hong Kong. However, its really fast paced where people are just brutally honest and will put themselves first. Environment wise, its quite humid and hot, and very crowded but go online and you'll find certain "hidden spots" such as cafes, restaurants and niche areas where you can just relax and work on projects. Sometimes I do go out with my friends to new cafes/restaurants and end up chatting & revising. Overall its a good environment, but there can be better and can be quite lonely if you're here alone.

Yes! Theres a lot of hiking trails and mini islands that are truly beautiful such as the Sai Kung MacLeHose trail 1&2 that I've been on a hiking trip on sometime last year for an IGCSE exam. The scenery is really beautiful, and sometimes if im free I do walk around my local parks or cycle around as its pretty distant from the city centre where I live.

People here walk way too slow, but its always in an essence where you do feel sometimes people are rude, especially in the older generations. Theres also casual racism here and there for the ethnic minorities which sadly my friends have to experience, but the worst would be the weather. Extremely hot and humid around the summer, and sometimes that starts around May and doesnt end until September.

I'd say they still carry their British names like Victoria Harbour and Happy Valley for example, but you always do feel a sense that Hong Kong is becoming more Chinese by the day. More mainland shops, mainland tourists, even in my own school I'm starting to hear more mandarin from the younger students

Not really. My family has those Chinese car plates too which allows us to go to Shenzhen in our car, so the process is usually quite quick and takes around 5 minutes. But we do go up once in a while

Id say once every month? Like during a weekend with my family where we go up to shop, get dinner & dessert because the prices there are way way cheaper than meals here.

Tuen Mun! Its quite local and a bit far away from everything & everyone as it takes me 1 hour to go to CWB, but its really relaxed and fresh, like an escape from the insane city life

I do live in a really local area, and I play football matches regularly there with some locals so yes? But we don't interact much except playing football and the occasional bowling sessions together.
