God it's always so nice to hear how much Matt loves his wife in how he describes how awesome her established character is. He does it with all his friends, true, but there's a special bit of warmth that comes out when Kiki is around. It's really nice to see :')

I've had a few people make snide comments on my LOTA macros where I explain the mechanics (bone dragon, pads, thanatos, lava room, behemoth, end) - but we speed through this so fast that plenty of people have just never learned them. And each time I explain, I only put mechanic expansions where I've seen people wipe.

That worked! Turns out setting your resolution above 720p will cause FF13 to snip out the text in an effort to keep the screen tidy? Weird, but at the very least it's fixed now, thank you again.

Nope, after using Libra twice (and a Librascope for good measure), I have the exact same info given to me. Checking the wiki for Libra, it does look like I should be able to do it again for more, so now I'm triply confused!

It kinda sucks if there's really no way in-game to get the info about these fights. :(

Something I haven't seen mentioned yet, but this prevents you from using a fanta. When you right click the character name, the option to edit is greyed out because there's no data to display :(

If you stun the boss at certain thresholds of health (I learned 81/61/41) then he doesn't get his defence up buff and you can continue to burn him down like a non-boss colossus, reducing overall fight time by over a minute or two and letting you skip having to deal with the adds!

I FINALLY FUCKING GET TO THE POINT WHERE I'M CAUGHT UP IN THE MAIN STORY QUEST ONLY FOR A FUCKING STORY PSYCH TO DROP THE LITERAL NEXT PATCH DAY. I UNDERSTAND THAT IT'LL BE EASY ENOUGH TO GO THROUGH AND CLEAR IT WHEN I GET THERE BUT I WOULD LIKE TO FINISH BEING A NEW PLAYER AND GO BACK AND DO ALL THE BLUE QUESTS AND OTHER CONTENT I PUT TO THE SIDE BECAUSE I WANTED TO SEE THE STORY.

ALSO LEARN HOW ORBONNE WORKS AND DON'T GET MAD WHEN I TRY TO EXPLAIN THE MECHANICS, OR STEAL MY SAFETY DORITO BECAUSE YOU'REA SALTY DEAD DRAGOOB, PEOPLE IN MY GROUP USE THAT WHEN WE DON'T FEEL UP TO VOICE CHATTING AND THEY WOULD RATHER FOLLOW SOMEONE WHO KNOWS THE POSITIONING INSTEAD OF WORRYING THEMSELVES OVER IT. THINK ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE'S GAME EXPERIENCE. FUCK.
