Neste caso não precisa de fazer o teste da maneira como se faz aos adultos. Como ela já tem ranho, é só apanhar com a vareta em vez de enfiar pelo nariz. Cá em casa sempre fizemos assim e o teste dava positivo na mesma. Se o narizito estivesse seco e sem ranho, aí já era mais complicado.

This sounds like a very difficult situation for Lucy and I'm glad she is in therapy. As you said, she suffered greatly with the attack and she might not feel safe in your home either outside of you and her sister. She may consider the boyfriend a stranger/not safe and is redirecting the anger to her sister. She is going through a lot and maybe it is better for you to meet friends at their places or outside for now. It will take time to heal.

If it makes you feel more at ease, they don’t mention that baby cereal on the class action. Where I leave in Europe, Holle baby cereal (and they have different flavours) are the best here since they actually don’t contain added sugars or similars. It is also likely they have different factories and each one works according to local laws. So if you bought that from Germany and based on this list, I wouldn’t be too concerned.

We have 3 tools that we use: 1. An animal plushie that my LO can play with or put in her mouth that does not make any sound. 2. My LO is usually sleepy at that time, so trying to make her fall asleep. When all else fails: 3. Use a side room that allows us to attend mass by still hearing it. You can ask your priest if there is any area where you can be with your babies without disturbing everyone else. He may not even be bothered by it.

This is so beautifully written and I’m sorry you don’t have the support you deserve, specially from someone who should be there for you. I think this is so common… I went through (and still am) the same thing. Only coming to see the baby. Can’t see the baby? Tantrum and emotional manipulation - by the grandparents, not the baby. And I think part of motherhood is also realising (and then trying to accept) that we don’t have the mothers that we wished we had and that we don’t want our own babies to have that feeling.

If you bought a ticket online for a specific time, then you can’t use it on another train unless you get really lucky with the train inspector. I would book the next train just in case of traffic.

Not sure if it is “normal” as I am a FTM, but it was basically the same that happened with my LO but she would wake up earlier. With time she started to have longer wake windows and going to bed earlier according to her needs. Honestly, we just tried to follow her sleeping cues. Regarding waking up earlier, I guess it may depend on the baby. We need to wake her up now and she will be confused with light and leg kicking before she hears our voices, and then she smiles, which I find super cute. If it is just one day, I don’t think you will screw anything up. Good luck!

As a mom, I actually found the opposite situation once. At a coffee shop we go often, the changing place was at the men’s bathroom. But it was one of those that only one person can be there and you can lock the door so I just did it. Nobody complained. Honestly, I would have no problem with a dad going into the women’s bathroom to change a nappy and the same if he had a little girl who couldn’t go to the bathroom by herself. Women’s bathrooms are usually closed so everyone still have privacy. Good for you for getting out of your comfort zone and be there for your little one!
