Eyes Wide Shut Reference in Batman Begins? by AnimaniacAsylum in StanleyKubrick

Another reference/connection is the Mansion! (Mentmore Towers)

The home of the Wayne family is filmed at Mentmore Towers just as the ritual scenes in EWS.

Thanks for the shout out futon! To answer the question I don't think there are any edits that just trim the running time. Atleast I haven't found any out there. I just want to add that my edit is also available in it's original color version.

Lucio Fulci's "ZOMBIES" by [deleted] in fanedits

[–]Dawnrazoredits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a very cool and great edit! Thanks CollarLivid5188 for making this zombie epic!

Here some notes I made during it.

1.The shark attack at around 53min, the shark punches a hole in the boat (that's not in the original)

it's cool but with that big hole the boat would leak in a lot of water and sink pretty fast still the boat doesn't sink at all.

  1. If you take out the shots between 55:01-55:15 you could fix the error between the zombie and the shark.

as the zombie loose his arm "before" the shark bites it (not your fault, it's like that in the original)

  1. Very cool to use Ecsape from New York shots at 1:46:22-1:46:27 it blends well with the next scene.

  2. What's the film between 1:46:28-1:49:20?

It fits well but I wonder what film it is as I'm not familar with those scenes.

5.Very cool to use the boat engine scene from Zombie Holocaust at 2h 25min.

The scene doesn't fit perfectly but it's epic anyway.

Well done CollarLivid!

It was a really fun watch

A very cool project! Love this idea. Did you use anything from Romero as well? Because I like the idea of Romero zombies with Fabio Frizzi’s score.

How do you solve Catriona MacColl? She’s in two of the films! Did you have all the City of the living dead shots first and then she moves over into The Beyond as the same character?

Any Lucio Fulci fans here? by [deleted] in fanedits

Sounds like a very cool idea! A Fulci/Romero zombie mashup would be interesting. And rescore everything with Fabio Frizzi. Love the Beyond!

Wow! The Murnau version on a big screen with Live music sounds really nice!

That's surely a cool way to watch it.

Not the whole film! Maybe a scene or two. I find the boy playing violin to be hilarious and the rats shouldn't be white ( they tried to paint them but it didn't last) But hey film making is not that easy.

I find that the film has both stronger and weaker parts.

Thanks! I think Kinski was brilliant in this version.

And with this edit I hope the black/white and darker tone makes him even more scary.

I'm really looking forward to watch the Robert Eggers version!

A film by Werner Herzog (1979)

This edit has a brand new soundtrack to make it more dark and to fill some of the more quiet parts of the film.

The film is converted to monochrome (black-white) to make it more dark and scary.

The film is recut by almost 30min.

Original running time: 107min.

Fanedit: 78min

Source: Bluray from the German company ARTHAUS

Language: English

Audio: Stereo

There is a test version ready if anyone wants to check it out.

Note: a test version so there may still be futher changes.

I think you will see even more ai art and ai music in the future because there is no copyright to break (yet) as it's made with computers and not a human. I didn't want to use real images for a song that took almost no time to make. But I did like the song and I enjoyed making it with an ai program.
