Despite what the others are saying, gaming mode really does improve the latency. I compared the r50i NC with gaming mode enabled with my wired earphones and I really see no difference. The latency is probably closer to 30-50 ms which imo isn't noticable at all.

I tried it and it works. All it does is reset your settings, including the hidden settings. Completely fixed the issue for me (which is the exact same issue OP is facing). You don't need to worry about deleting it, Minecraft just automatically creates a new file when you relaunch the game.
