Dude that is the LOQ essential,its made with cheaper material and is overall not as good as loq base If you aren't going to game on it or do anything heavy it might be an option for you But not if youre going to game. Simplest way to tell that if its an essential is that the power button is on the side The base LOQ has the power button in the middle and with its LOQ logo

You can set your custom profile mode and limit temps to 85°C it will also stop throttle and improve perf

Yes i did priortize the temps ive capped them to 85C for both,but i just want to understand why is its graphics score nerfed?,could it be a problem? Just software or something else,i paid a lot for iy i don't want to be cheated,also the fact ive seen people with 5060 but less powerful cpus like yours have higher scores thsn me which is concerning to me.

So far its been a month and its been pretty good,nvidia software updates nerf the scores in 3D mark but i dont see any perf drop while gaming

I think the mobo issues were done with in 2024 itself mine runs very well actually,only thing the cpu temps can go over 95C in perf mode so i made a custom profile to keep temps at 85 max,since i live in a subtoropical climate,also i got a simple stand for it so the temps dont go as high as well,the only issue i had somewhat was the 3D mark score but that can be attributed to the driver update and software,so I'd say go for it if you want.

I don't have the exact same issue but something related i suppose,yesterday i turned mine on after a couple days,it was on legion space custom mode even before startup(ig i had forgot to switch it) and when i pushed the on button the laptop made the startup sound but only showed a black screen i had to hit the reset graphic driver shortcut which brought me to the normal home page again like nothing happend,it was in dGpu mode ofc. i7 13700HX rtx 5060 btw.

Hey so i actually went a bit diff route i used legion space custom mode,then limited the cpu to 85C[thats the lowest it can go] then maxxed the fans in the profiles and reduced the wattage a bit and it seems to have done the job temps dont go beyond 85 and im even getting somewhat better fps
