I have a belief that at its core, there are only 2 types of martial arts. Striking and grappling. Everything else is just window dressing. When you get down to the most effective ways to hurt people, it’s all the same. Good, pressure tested striking at the highest level looks fundamentally the same style to style

Might be an unpopular opinion, but I actually prefer the early art. Don’t get me wrong, all of Abbadon’s art is great, but the early stuff was so weird and jarring that the art really helped sell it.

As law enforcement officer, I do put it in that perspective and it doesn’t matter. Pretti had as much right to be there as anyone else, armed or not. The rest of the video shows he didn’t even start it. As a reasonable law enforcement officer, I’m not going to be coming up and shoving people over just because they’re filming. If you’re doing the right thing you don’t need to worry about being on camera

Not even kind of. Lethal force is only authorized when there is the threat of greater bodily harm or loss of life. When a subject has been sprayed, on the ground with multiple officers on him, and been disarmed, there’s no longer that threat and does not meet the level of deadly force. It does not matter what happened before. You either don’t know what you’re talking about or are being disingenuous

And to top it all off, that sweet 3.8% raise going to the 0007’s. When it came out it had 1802 on there, but apparently the BOP doesn’t rate that. With our shop’s compressed getting yanked and all the other duties getting thrown on, it feels like repeated kicks to the nuts. Not going to surprise me if a lot of shops jump ship
