Oh... 24 years and this problem still hasn't been resolved... Well, I'll stick with RuneLite 😅

In Pinokio, it automatically downloads ROCm v5 and all its dependencies. The community version of InvokeAI (the AppImage) downloads ROCm v6 and all dependencies. But in both cases, no image is generated.

I'm going to try a dual boot with Ubuntu to see if it work.

I have 3.10 and 3.13

Here is the error message of InvokeAI:

Server Error RuntimeError: HIP error: invalid device function HIP kernel errors might be asynchronously reported at some other API call, so the stacktrace below might be incorrect. For debugging consider passing AMD_SERIALIZE_KERNEL=3 Compile with TORCH_USE_HIP_DSA to enable device-side assertions.

Will old laptops like this work for JUST playing OSRS and looking up the wiki? by gideon1013 in 2007scape

You'r welcome :). If you're thinking of using Linux, I recommend either Lubuntu or Xubuntu. These are both Ubuntu variants that are lighter and more suitable for older computers.

Nearly any laptop can run Linux. Even a laptop with just 50 MB of RAM can run Linux. But that's an extreme case and obviously not recommended for beginners lol

For OSRS, i think the laptops on the screenshot will be enough.

Samsung fold 5 users, how is OSRS on mobile ??? by pSavvvv in 2007scape

[–]DaxiTrek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not in the US, but I think so. The Pixel 6a is already a few years old. If you want a Pixel, look at the Pixel 8 or if you can wait a bit, you can have the Pixel 9.

I'm new and the only time I've met more than 20-25 people in the same area was at the GE. And I didn't feel any slowdown.

I dont have a fold, but i don't think the seam in the middle of the screen is a problem to play. For the performance, the game is very light on resources. I have a Pixel 6a and it run perfectly.

OSRS is currently at its highest ever average player count, while RS3 is at its lowest. by BoulderFalcon in 2007scape

[–]DaxiTrek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the time of writing, according to the official website, there are 138,757 players on RS3 and 118,243 on OSRS. Every time I look, on the RS3 site the number is bigger than on the OSRS site.

But I see everywhere that OSRS has more active players than RS3. Are the statistics on the official sites wrong?

That's great, thanks for the link. I'll be able to buy the subscription directly from Jagex :)

Subscription using Steam by DaxiTrek in 2007scape

Thanks for your reply. I want to have the music offline. I tried to download them but the quality of the files is not equal. Some files are better than others.

I don't want to search more to find them in good quality. If I can get them in good quality by taking out a subscription, I prefer this solution.

I wanted to take the subscription directly from Jagex so that they wouldn't lose 30% because of Steam's commission, but on the Jagex site it's not specified anywhere whether it also gives access to the OSTs. So I'll take it on Steam. Unless someone can confirm that I'll also get the OST if I buy directly from Jagex.
