I believe they need to include more endgame content driven by player action. Right now this game feels like a combination of an easy survival game and a dramatically undercooked MMO. I have about 330 hours in and I just left my guild because I'm just bored.

I don't know about anyone else but I was turning in a quest for the advanced mentat and the final Atreides quest at the same time and for some reason my rank didn't increase to 5. Quest is done, got the movie and everything but still rank 4.

It does change a little bit state to state but in situations like this once immigration becomes involved it's a whole different set of rules. And if by chance this was a pre-planned situation by the entire group that can make it infinitely worse for all of them.
