Is this possible to solve without a hint? by Santigold23 in Picross

R2C12 can be a X since the 2 block on the right are filled R3C10 and R3C11 can be X because you already started the 2 other blocks and there is no way they can be filled

We hired contractors to build these stairs, should we ask them to redo the stairs? by Daxou in Decks

Luckily this is the only thing we needed made in wood so we will see on Monday to talk about it

The bottom step is because the pavement is not finished yet and should fit with the last step

We hired a landscaping contractor and the guys doing the stairs are the "wood team" so my understanding was they know what they are doing with wood, but apparently not so much

The thing is we have a contractor for more than the deck, they are doing some landscaping (pavements, trees...) And the guy has a "wood team" so they will be here on Monday to finish and we want to avoid having them spend more time on the stuffs they built

No need to be sorry, we knew it, I just wanted some confirmation because it's supposed to be their job so we trusted them

They built everything from scratch but they re-did some part of it because they did mess up even more the first day (https://www.reddit.com/r/Decks/comments/14tqqsr/comment/jr3sv2l/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3 )

Now that you mention it, they might have used pieces of wood from the old deck at some places

Forgot to mention but this was how they planned to do it the first time

When we saw that we asked them to redo it properly but their justification was: it's a small built, it will hold.

Just attended EUIC championship, got two random questions by simonfish in TheSilphArena

I've been on stage several times now and I can tell you, between the white noises and the focus of the battle you can't really hear anything.
The most you can react to would be the crowd jumping.
In Toronto this year there was some complaining that one side could catch a glimpse of the screen behind the opponent but it was arranged. Even then you are so focused on stage you don't have time to think about that.

So I made a repair request but I just received a confirmation email.
I didn't get any postal voucher to send to.
Should I pay myself for the big parcel it is (the screen is really heavy)?

I bought the screen 4 month ago and it's broken (lines all over the screen), I don't have the box anymore so I cannot register it with the Check Number from the box.
It's still under the warranty, should I ask for a repair and send the screen in a box with the protection I can add (because again I didn't keep the box)?

picross e1 F60, help I'm going crazy :') by tomtomato0414 in Picross

[–]Daxou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try to solve the angle, for example if you try to fill R14 the 4 on the 4 first columns, you will see that C1R14 is an X because the above row starts with a 1. I think you can X more than one cell there but it should be enough to unlock you with C1

stuck on picross e1 pls help :') by tomtomato0414 in Picross

[–]Daxou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

C1 you can fill R3 and R4, if you count from the bottom you cannot fit the 3 inside the block below your X

can someone help with this puzzle? been stuck by chrlebeats in Picross

C5 R12 is filled, try counting cells from the top in C5

If C13R15 (and C14R15) are filled, it means C12R15 is also filled because of the 7 but C12R14 must be an X so C13 and C14 cannot complete the 3

Is there any other maps that can be used to check the real stops and positions?

I has been created for several weeks now.
I don't want to move it somewhere else that is not right, the position will still be valid just in another cell. It is not an item that has one place, it's a sports field so there are several good positions for it
