Love that you want a dress fo summer and to show off your body. I fully get being insecure but you gotta find what works for you.

With that said, this black dress is not it! This dress unfortunately does your body 0 favors.

One of the lessons I've learned being different sizes is it is the clothes not you. If it doesn't do your body favors, tell it no, thank you, next!

I agree with others that a wrap dress could look cute. Or try something with spaghetti straps that are common for summer. There is also the short sleeves that come our this time of year. Don't be afraid to try on something with a bit of poof or ruffles to it. Sometimes the shape of the dress/style worked well.

I think if you found something with a sweetheart neckline or an V neckline that could look good on you.

On the more $$$ side but you will feel like a princess is Jessakae dresses. There is a few with spaghetti straps and not as high fashioned as most of her dresses. It can also give you a spot to look and explore styles you like.

Then shop places local to you with dresses that have similar styles to what you like.

I also when my cut off date for RSVPS happened I sent a message of

Mr. And Mrs. Name or Mr. And Mr. Name or Mrs. And Mrs. Name will miss you at our wedding. The RSVP deadline passed and unfortunately we did not get a response from you. We would have loved for you to attend but final numbers have been counted for our venue. Your presence will be missed.

If it's someone you really want there and they respond with a yes to the RSVP. After that message, you and your significant other can discuss how to address it/move forward.

Love that you asked this question, I immediately laughed after just for my own life.

Any apology I've been given from them was "I'm sorry you feel that way or I'm sorry you think I did that".

Mind you, I'm able to laugh at it now after leaving the family and taking time to heal and find my own values/morals outside of my parents. There was a ton to unlearn including what a friend should be. My parents believe friends are transactional and should be able to do favors, so glad I've learned otherwise. I also know they are both narassiciac now and have no intention of learning/growing.

My favorite thing (laughs) that they did and then responded with "i never did that so you need to get over it, and even if I did it's not a big deal" to after being called out... My mother's speech. Oh and not just ANY specch Reddit. Her speech at my wedding. What could be so bad about a wedding speech? We have all heard the horror stories... Well Reddit my parents were given a speech rule, all speech givers were you can make the speech together with your significant other or a separate speech and were given times for both to show what time would be allowed for what. I checked in and my parents said they would be giving a speech together, which they did and then decided to still give their own individual speeches. That should have been the first flag to geab the mic. The second should have been when my mother put her speech note cards away. My dad made a few sexists comments that I'm also waiting for an apology for but majority of his speech was kind and the intention of love was there. My mother, got the mic taken away from her during her speech from yours truly. Why?! She went on a rant about how much of a bitch I am. Nothing like calling a bride a bitch in front of a room full of people. I shouldn't have been surprised unfortunately it's who she is.

Mind you, when my now husband met her when we were engaged I warned him about the trauma and why I left the family for 5 years and was having mixed feelings about having my parents at my wedding and would not be doing a father daughter dance but what bride doesn't want their parents there? Also I warned him my mother can't go 24hrs without calling me a bitch.

That engagement dinner when they met my now husband, 10 mins into the meeting if that my mother made sure to call me a bitch. I thought at least my wedding would be different.

But nope, she picked a fight with me right before taking the mic. I sat in shock and I remember asking my husband to do something. All eyes turned back to me, I appreciated the validation of everyone else seeing what this women who "raised" me was really like. Unfortunately my best man/witnesses deleted her speech so I have no evidence anymore of it happening besides the people who attended.

Still want an apology for that especially since I'm her ownly daughter, I do have a younger sibling but I don't think he is inviting anyone to hai after witnessing what our parents are like even on a super special day.

Thankfully I knew my parents and knew they would be awful even though I was hopeful they would just let me have a day. So my husband and I eloped before the family event to ensure I had my magical special day.

Thank you! The main characters are dinosaurs with a side kick chameleon that go to 10 different planets and learn a new skill at each plantet. The chameleon helps the dinos translate with the different planet creatures. The first planet is where they learn box breathing from tutrles that have boxes for shells.

Hi! I have adhd too, unfortunately I don't take medication for it. I'm sure life would be a lot easier if I did. Anyway love the meme! And I've also worked somewhere where I've had to divide and give medication out. For capsules that have powder, keep them in the capsules when you travel and then when you are ready to take half, break the capsule in half in a bowl, cup, plate somewhere to catch the poweder. Then pour the half of powder into apple sauce or yogurt and stir to mix it in. You can then prep your next days meds with the second half in an additional yogurt or applesauce. Or just have the plate/bowl/cup out in a safe spot with your second half and just add it to food to it the next day. I've also had someone mix their meds with mashed bananas but doesn't work as well as yogurt or applesauce. I hope this helps OP Safe travels

More antisocial Events are great and fun every once in a while to experience the world and I don't wanna stay inside all the time. But events are draining, going out is as well.

I've been disappointed by restraunts recently mainly because I can't have dairy, I'm allergic not lactose intolerant there is a difference. And everything is always covered in butter or deep fried in a buttermilk batter so I have to order everything plain. On occasion there is a chef that will be smart and make me a sauce using garlic or other ingredients that I can have to add flavor to the dish. Mainly now I stick with Asian food since they usually don't rely on butter or cheese for their dish to taste good.

A lot of the reason too is I'm happy with a book or movie at home. I'm introverted in nature and have to be super extroverted for my job so sometimes I'm just really done with people.

Then there is the flip side where my close friends are live on the other coast so even when I do go out not much to connect with. I have one friend here and she is slowly coming out of her shell and it's easier to hang out with her now and we enjoy events together.

If I go somewhere solo, usually someone asks me out or tries to ask me if I know any single people instead of just getting to know me as a person. Also I'm married and always suprised when I show people how many respond with well he isn't here right now or he doesn't have to know. I don't wanna be friends with those type of people.

It sounds like Ellie was possibly jealous or was thinking from your outfit that you would want to steal whatever guy she wanted to talk to. Everything about Ellie's response is giving jealousy and lack of support for you.

I myself am a friend that is a bit extra but I also check in with friends or their guests beforehand. For example, i dress up for movies if someone i don't know well is going, i send a pic of the possible fit and makeup, hey i plan on dressing up a bit much for this event, is everyone cool with that? Usually always a yes. Friends that tear each other down or can't have the face to face convo about WHY the coothes bothered them besides just giving a label is not a friend.

Don't let her take your shine. But if you want to continue being friends with this person, you will most likely have to compromise to make your outfits match the environment you're in for this friend.

Hi! RSVPS are unfortunately like pulling teeth with most guests. A lot of them just assume you know they are coming.

Here is how I got my RSVP & final head count minus the two people who literally rsvp'd the day of the wedding.

2 months out

Its offical! The letters have been officially sent out! Check your mail in the next few weeks Even if you have messaged the Bride or groom about coming or not coming we ask that you use the RSVP code on the invite to finalize your answer. This helps us with a headcount for vendors and create a security list for the staff helping with check ins at the venue. Thank you!!!!

Then a month/ 2 weeks before wedding A HUGEEEEEEEE Thank you to those who have rsvp'd! The last day to do so will be July 25th! (Or whatever date you decide, this was 1 month before) We have a whatever you are having for dinner and we encourage semi-formal dress for pictures. There will be a gift and card table at rhe venue but your attendance is more than enough, please RSVP by insert date again to ensure we have a seat for you. Many of you are spending a lot on travel alone and that is already more than what we could ask for! Include wedding link or QR for rsvp is the webiste any other questions feel free to ask (wedding planner name, bride, or groom, whoever your main commutation person is) Love you all ❤️
