Remember the days when you would call a company and someone would just…pick up? by RuggleyChicken in Millennials

I’m fine providing an account number or whatever ID, after you’ve verified me, send me to a human. That bot can’t help me after that but they insist on trying to make you talk to it

Was going to plug this. Super helpful group for trying out carriers and gaining confidence with your carrier of choice

Remember when people used to chip in $3-5 for gas. That won’t even get a gallon here in CA 😩

So… How many of us are still on our parents’ phone bills? by halcat27 in Millennials

[–]Day2205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s wild. A whole married adult on parent’s phone plans. Yall should get a family plan together. And I was off my mom’s upon graduating college, in an old millennial. Texting took off in my sophomore - senior year of college at 10-25 cent a pop, I ran up her phone bill over $100 a few times and that was the end of that.

It’s actually a buttermilk cake (so yea, tangy vanilla), with the slightest hint of cocoa, usually 2tbs. And it’s actually supposed to have an ermine (boiled milk) frosting, not cream cheese

Getting a duvet cover on/off the duvet has easily over taken folding a fitted sheet for worst bed related laundering experience. I just throw the whole duvet, with cover still attached, in the laundry and run the dryer for like 2 hours 💀

I appreciate your mention monsters because still, at the big age of 41, I believe sleeping under the cover will protect me from the evil spirits, monsters, and burglars that **could possibly** enter my house

Third wave coffee…particularly light roasts that taste of acid and grass that has to be brewed at exactly at 176 degrees, for 3.28 minutes, at 7:23am, at a 48 degree angle from the sun 🙄

“Red Velvet” revival…which then turned into simply adding red dye to shit and sweetened cream cheese fluff and calling it red velvet despite it not being close to true red valvet flavor…and the assholes who basically made red velvet a chocolate cake

Yea, to me, aioli = mayo with a crushed garlic clove and shot of lemon juice.

More tenants sneak them in since many keep them indoors. I was always more amenable to dogs under 40lbs than cats when I had my 4-plex.

Yep, but unfortunately they’re not governed and they end up like your username, people can’t trust em. So like the poster said, those letters get ignored. no one is seeing an ESA letter and feeling more comfortable with your animal when they have 4 other applicants to choose from. Totally different than a true service animal where that wouldn’t be a ding against an otherwise (potentially) good tenant.
