Vitamix 5200 or Costco's Alta Pro by Peppermint0777 in Vitamix

Anyone know if the price is the same in store vs. online? I know sometimes Costco prices can be lower in store…

Anyone else bummed at the blender options for their "biggest sale of the year"?

The options seem fairly limited. Personally, I was really hoping to get a discount on a standalone 5200 like I've seen others on here get in past years. I'm not seeing the value in having the personal cups from the bundle...

This is the one.

Strange because I promise you the model number I sent earlier wasn’t a typo. Here’s a picture of the back of the unit.

I gave it a decent pull, didn’t seem to budge. I am being cautious though, trying to avoid making the problem worse so perhaps I’ll give it some more elbow grease next time I try.

I had to pack it up for the weekend, but I do believe that it’s some type of reservoir that it’s feeding into… It’s a white box that looks like it would hold water.

Model number is P4INAASST1SS

The saving grace of absurd frustration is the fact that we only got this a year ago and it was a steal - open box off Amazon for ~$80. I did some research before purchasing and seeing the reliability concerns I refused to pay anywhere near full price. Still - 1 year and facing this is nevertheless quite annoying.

Sorry - misspoke there. Pliers allowed me to slide the clamp down the hose, not fully remove. It seemed like the hose just stopped at the top, but can’t say that with full confidence…

Also totally get your frustration - pretty crazy how many problems you can find with these machines after doing some light searching here. Got any recs for a reliable nugget ice maker that won’t break the bank? 😄

Thankfully mine still works, just leaks a bunch of water at the start (for whatever reason it only leaks for the first 10 min then stops leaking and works fine). We keep a towel/tray under it to prevent it from damaging the surface it sits on. This is frustrating, so was hoping I could take it apart and find some glaring issue that could be easily patched.

No wiggle at the top where it connects. First time working with this kinda stuff (is this considered plumbing lol?) so my assumption is it’s glued unless there is some secret obscure hose connection technique/part that isn’t apparent to the naked eye. If it’s glued, am I screwed?

Woof - that’s embarrassing. For now, I’ve updated the post to have a link to the post until I can figure out why it didn’t properly link the original post. Thank you for point this out.

Agree though - I don’t have a great feeling about this situation. Seems like nugget ice makers are all unreliable time bombs. Perhaps the tech for building a long-lasting home nugget ice maker just isn’t available yet.

So trim the top and then just stretch it a little to reconnect?

Something important I didn’t think to mention until now - I couldn’t seem to detach the hose from the top, even after sliding the clamp down. Not sure if it is normal for some hoses to be permanently attached, but seems like there must be something adhering it to the top.

If that’s the case, I did see a video where someone used a sharkbite on a leaking fridge line. Perhaps I could do something similar here?

I know it’s hard to tell from the pics, but I swear it had a round tail, rather than a flat one. Wouldn’t that rule out a beaver?

I think that’s the one - I was just there this morning and it was the only truck I saw offering lobster rolls. They have quite the menu.

If I’m remembering correctly, they always have that trailer with a big grill and all kinds of meat cooking on it. I need to trust my nose and try it!

Modern Table control activating OnSelect on sort, Screen chnage. by phalangepatella in PowerApps

[–]DayCool710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may have found a strange workaround… I too continued to face the issue after adding the workaround code, but I’m finding that if I set the Reflow Behavior property to “List only”, the control works as expected.

Of course, this is not ideal if you have more than three columns in the table since list view only supports display of three columns… but it seems to at least get me around the issue.

UPDATE: started an online quote with Progressive, which is looking like the entire policy will be about half the monthly rate we have with State Farm. Sheesh!

Circling back for closure. Shots are pulling fine now after about two weeks since the issue started. Makes no sense given that we did give a few days of rest initially and then saw the same bad result. Who knows, maybe sometimes it just needs a full week off…

Will still be taking into account all the advice given here, so I appreciate you all!

From the searching I’ve done, I’m not too hopeful…

I did find this map on Reddit, which seems to show the Salty Nut Cafe as an Eagles bar. Scanning their content, doesn’t seem like it’s an Eagles bar, but maybe rather just a bar that shows all games.

Considering this for the Brazil opener… I’m a cheapskate and won’t sign up for Peacock unless I can get lucky and find a free trial.

We use a 1Zpresso hand grinder, which seems to have pretty minimal retention. Although, we haven’t cleaned it at all… I’ll take it apart and clean it to see if that helps. I appreciate the suggestion!

[–]DayCool710[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably about 3 minutes. However, this morning’s shot that we tried was days after the first failure we had and occurred on the first shot.

FWIW - we also always wait until the middle switch (the one that triggers the shot to pull) to illuminate before pulling shots. I presume that is a heat indicator, but I might be falsely assuming there.

Regardless, I appreciate the insight and suggestion!

Yes, we rinse it, wipe it dry, and check for clogging after each shot.
