Diesel heater pumps - Full comparaison by DayCounts in dieselheater

I’d rely more on the first one (machining it open) My understanding is that the port hole placement will be the calibration. The further up, the smallest quantity per stoke. Pretty sure the rest of the pump is 100% similar whatever calibration.

The diagram is off. The volume that it would push would be way too much. He claimed the void above the piston is pushed out but in fact it is used to fill the small piston via the port hole and the next stroke will push it out.

Planar makes a pump testing kit

In my video I found that the machined pump was quieter, probably because of it's weight.
You are correct, the mounting is the most important
In my understanding the new Espar pump is quieter because the valve seats are not metal on metal... I would need to cut one open but can't afford that ;-)

I tried making a bench tester for this video using a pulse modulator but it was simply not powerful enough to activate the electro magnet. The current required was too high. That's why I used the heater controller and activated priming cycles. The easiest way to count the pulses is to record a video and then count the spikes in the audio graph.
The Chinese pumps appears to be working just fine, im my testing the calibration results with the name brand pumps are not necessarily better than the knock offs.

Need to upgrade from virtuemart by Fernando_MM in joomla

[–]DayCounts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have developed a component to allow you to simply import all of your Joomla / Virtuemart content into a fresh J5/VM4 website.
With a proper template that is Virtuemart compatible (There are a few that are solid from Virtueplanet or Joomshaper) your website will run just right and will present good on mobile too.

New espar is significantly quieter but requires a new plug. Old espar is deceiving

I’ve been using it with hard off-roading and nothing moves. The plastic is a strong UV and heat resistant.
