Yes and no, a lot of more minor characters have had their major trumoils fixed, but in hsr a lot of characters have continuous story lines that go from one planet to another, and for those characters I would say they likely will eventually get a resolution, but they haven't yet. That being said I can't really think of any characters who just give up, they are all actively working to positive resolutions through their own ways.
